Hands-Free Scanning Solution
X-Rite's fully automated patch readers support a wide range of media, inks, and press or printer combinations, and offer modes specifically designed for UV illumination and optical brighteners. In addition, they directly support X-Rite (as well as nearly all third-party) profiling software programs.
i1iO for i1Pro 3 and i1Pro 3 Plus
The i1iO for i1Pro 3 and i1Pro 3 Plus can be added to workflows at any time. Simply place the i1Pro 3 or i1Pro 3 Plus device onto the tray arm to perform hands-free patch reading. In scanning mode under M0 measurement conditions, i1iO can read over 500 patches per minute and quickly create profiles.
It features a mechanical arm fixed to the device that can move over the patches of the test chart. The i1iO can be height-adjusted for different media and is suitable for media up to 10 mm thick (up to 33 mm thick with an optional Z-axis spacer).
If you, like many others in the wide-format printing field, work with both flexible and rigid substrates, the i1iO's ability to quickly measure multi-page charts will be highly beneficial: simply define three position points and then command the software to run in single-scan or dual-scan mode.
