In order to promote the high-quality development of the paper industry, according to the work plan of the China Paper Association, the inaugural meeting of the Offset Printing Paper Working Committee of the China Paper Association was successfully held in Beijing on August 25, 2025. Zhao Wei, Chairman of the China Paper Association, and representatives from major domestic offset printing paper production enterprises attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhao Wei, Chairman of the China Paper Association.

The meeting reviewed and approved the "Work Regulations of the Offset Printing Paper Working Committee of the China Paper Association" and the "List of Member Units of the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Offset Printing Paper Working Committee of the China Paper Association". Zhong Tianqi, Vice Chairman of the China Paper Association, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Paper Investment Co., Ltd., was elected as the Director of the First Offset Printing Paper Working Committee; The heads of ten enterprises, including Sun Paper, Huatai Paper, Chenming Paper, Jinguang Group (APP), Nine Dragons Paper, Asia Pacific Senbo, Yueyanglin Paper, Dahe Paper, Jianghe Paper, and Henan Tianbang, were elected as deputy directors. The Secretariat of the Offset Printing Paper Working Committee is located in the China Paper Association, with Guo Caiyun, Deputy Secretary General of the China Paper Association, serving as Secretary General.
Zhong Tianqi stated in his election speech that under the guidance of the China Paper Association, the Offset Printing Paper Working Committee will fully play its role as a communication bridge, strengthen service awareness, actively fulfill its responsibilities, enhance industry governance capabilities, guide industry self-discipline, regulate industry behavior, promote healthy development, enhance the overall competitiveness of the industry, and contribute to the high-quality development of the offset printing paper industry.

During the conference, the attending representatives conducted in-depth discussions on industry development and core issues such as industry risk prevention and control, market self-discipline, and the construction of a fair competition environment. Multiple key consensuses were reached, advocating for the elimination of low-quality internal competition, ensuring product quality, establishing a fair and orderly competition mechanism, and jointly building a new industrial ecology for collaborative high-quality development.
Zhao Wei, Chairman of the China Paper Association, emphasized in his speech at the meeting that the establishment of the Offset Printing Paper Working Committee is an important milestone for the industry to address challenges and promote standardized development.
