According to German printing media reported on July 4, SKion and Altana Investment Company continue to invest in Lanta Nanotechnology. Investing $300 million for Landa Digital Printing: Just as Israeli printer manufacturers announced that a new round of financing equivalent to 257 million euros has ended with the participation of SKion Investment Company Leader and Altana Chemical Pharmaceutical Group. This has resulted in new financing funds specifically designed to expand productivity, further develop nano-printing technology and to bring the current Lanta press into the market. SKion and Altana are all owned by the German rich woman Susanne Klatten.

The current investment complements the financial commitments that have been made by Brenanda and Altana in the Lanta digital printing project, and now according to both parties, this commitment has exceeded $400 million (equivalent to 343 million euros).

Major shareholder is still Bennyland

According to Altana, after a new round of financing, Bennetland's 54% stake remains the majority shareholder of the Landa Digital Printing Project. SKion and Altana now hold a 46% stake in the Randa press manufacturer, with Altana's shares remaining at 33.3%.

Currently, two Lanta S10 nano presses are undergoing beta testing: one in Graphica Belazel in Israel; the other in the first quarter of 2018 at the Edelmann packaging and surface finishing specialists in Germany.

Altana's commitment to Lanta technology

In 2014, Altana invested in Landa Digital Printing for the first time. At that time, the total investment reached 100 million US dollars. In addition, in early 2017, Altana Chemical Pharmaceutical Group purchased metal printing technology from Landa Digital Printing Group. The printing method introduced at Drupa 2016 can achieve the metallic effect of printed products in the narrow-format printing process. At that time, Landa gradually transferred the necessary development and design work of metal printing technology to Altana's Actega coating and sealing business unit.
