Pieces. In this issue, we have selected 7 interesting winning entries to share with you.
Italicus drink label

Award category: Best Achievement Award
Delivery company: Stranger & Stranger
Judges' Comments: The drink uses an old Italian recipe, and the ingredients are almost all mature, full of flowers and plants, which are made by fine processing. In order to match the high-quality beverages, the design of the bottles and labels is also very delicate.
The bottle of the handmade glass bottle is blown into a skirt, which is both beautiful and easy to hold in the hand. The soft apricot label reveals a touch of vintage, but the wicking text on the label gives it a modern feel. The four corners of the main label are different from the right angles of a regular rectangle with a distinct Italian style. The top surface of the bottle cap is a pattern containing ancient Roman elements, and the side is a different marble pattern separated by vertical bars. It looks very gorgeous and echoes the vertical shape of the bottle.
Newmarket gin packaging

Award category: Best Hard Wine Packaging Award
Selected company: Nude Brand Creation
Judges' Comments: This is a distilled gin package in the Newmarket area, designed to celebrate local horse racing. The bottles are all frosted glass, and the bottle label has a binocular window that allows you to see the horse racing scene on the back of the label on the opposite bottle wall through the window and the gin in the bottle. The horse racing on the pattern is the champion horse who won 2000 gold coins in the 2016 Newmarket Competition. The wine in the bottle, after the refraction of light, adds a sense of movement to the horse racing pattern. In addition, the text is highly symmetrical, and a little red lettering eliminates the dullness of black and white, creating a perfect visual experience.
Underground Project wine label

Award category: Best Wine and Champagne Packaging Award
Selected company: Co Partnership
Judges' Comments: This wine is a sub-brand of Hungerford Hill. In order to increase brand awareness, the designer was inspired by the brand's underground cellar, and some of the text on the label was smeared, indicating that the content of some wine recipes is not public. Consumers only need to know the information conveyed by the exposed text. This label jumps out of the traditional wine label design approach to cater to younger consumers and expand online sales channels. The use of black and white only, not only does not make the entire label monotonous, but reveals a mystery, so that people can't wait to open the cover.
IONIA Limited Edition Olive Oil Label

Award category: Best Condiment, Dairy Packaging Award (No. 2)
Selected company: A.S.Advertising
Judge's Comments: It is a limited edition olive oil packaging design. The gray label is contrasted with the black bottle. The whole is only gray and white, calm and generous, and the labels on the 2000 bottles are different.
It is an ancient Greek painting art and design process that draws boldly on each bottle with irregular complex patterns. Apply this ancient craft to contemporary and fashionable products to create a sustainable product line. Each product can be designed with 2,000 different label patterns to create endless possibilities!
Lanitis fresh milk shrink sleeve

Award category: Best Achievement Award
Delivery company: Resonance
Judges' Comments: Resonance's Mt.Pleasant line of craft beer labels was designed specifically for R&B Brewing, a high quality artisanal brewery in Vancouver, Canada. The design style is unique and inspired by the quiet town of Mt. Pleasant in Vancouver and the surrounding area. Different colors correspond to different tastes, and each label uses a light and vivid color, which is matched with the brown bottle body, which is vivid and not messy, and the display effect is excellent.
Mt.Pleasant series of handmade craft beer labels

Award category: Best Achievement Award
Selected company: Beetroot Design Group
Judges comment: A good day starts from the early morning, and a good morning begins with a good cup of milk. With a good mood, we start to write the story of the day, just like writing on white paper. This bold idea It is reflected in the label design of this milk: the label of the white ink is printed with a clear and clear pattern, the sky blue and white match, reminiscent of the morning blue sky and white clouds, savoring the typical pasture scenery elements, it seems Tell a story about the source of milk, the process of milk production and processing, and healthy living. This is a "telling story" tag!
SOTO SAKE Japanese Sake Label

Award category: Best Wine and Champagne Packaging Award (3rd place)
Selected company: Joe Doucet x Partners
Judges' Comments: Sake's production process is very sophisticated, and it is a history and culture deeply rooted in Japan. The main color of this sake label is white with the same color as the brewing material, rice, clean and clear. SOTO means "external" in Japanese. The short lines above the two "O" are paired with the letter "O", which seems to be the human eye, adding to the whole package. Wrap the bottle with a completely opaque screen-printed label and leave two small holes in the label that echo the “SOTO”, meaning “let you see the world outside”.
