The polymer surfactant has a good dispersing effect on the pigment (filler) in water and solvent. It is called a hyperdispersant. It is composed of two parts, and some of them are polar groups such as NR2, NR3, and COOH. , a S03H, polyamines, polyols and polyethers, etc., these polar groups are tightly adsorbed on the surface of the pigment by ionic bonds, hydrogen bonds and van der Waals forces to prevent desorption; another part is solvation chain, and dispersion The medium has good compatibility, which can greatly reduce the interfacial tension between the pigment particles and the dispersion medium, and form a space barrier on the surface of the pigment to maintain the stability of the dispersion system. In order to improve the speed and energy saving, high-solids coatings are usually used. Polymer surfactant dispersants, such as sodium polyacrylate solution (trade name: Dispex N-40, Polysah S, SP-61, DC-854), are usually used. Sodium polymethacrylate and its derivatives, disodium salt of maleic anhydride diisobutylene copolymer, alkylphenol ethoxylate (OP type product), fatty alcohol ethoxylate (OS type), and the like.
