In the field of anti-counterfeiting printing, paper anti-counterfeiting is the top. At present, the commonly used anti-counterfeit printing papers are mainly as follows, and they all have special anti-counterfeiting characteristics.

First,  Watermark paper

It is paper with relief, perspective, touchable image, barcode, etc. The banknote uses the watermark anti-counterfeiting technology. Since the watermark cannot be reproduced by a photocopier, a scanner, etc., its anti-counterfeiting effect is highly valued. Today, the application of watermarks has been extended to notes of value, documents, and even books. The watermark is used in the papermaking process to use the technology to feed the desired logo, pattern, etc. into the paper, such as installing a pre-designed watermark graphic plate on the screen, or pressing it through a printing cylinder. Because the height of the graphic is different, the pulp is formed into different thicknesses of different thicknesses. After the paper is formed, the transmittance of the pulp varies according to the density of the pulp at the image. Therefore, when the light is observed, the original design can be displayed.

Watermarks have three types: fixed watermark, semi-fixed watermark and non-fixed watermark. The printing process of fixed watermark is difficult, and must be fixed at a certain position of the main body of banknotes, passports, documents, etc., and usually matches the printed graphic or other anti-counterfeiting measures visible to the naked eye, such as 100 yuan in the watermark window position. The avatar has a fixed watermark. The distance and position between each set of watermarks of the semi-fixed watermark are fixed, and each group is continuously arranged on the paper, so it is also called continuous watermark, which is mostly used for special paper. The fixed watermark is distributed on the full version of the paper or the ticket surface. Therefore, it is also called the full version of the watermark. For example, the third and fourth sets of China’s five yuan, two yuan and one yuan are printed on the full version of the ancient money watermark paper, but the new version five Yuan Renminbi has been printed with watermark paper with a watermark pattern.

1. Anti-counterfeit watermark paper has developed from the original long net paper to today's highly secure long net paper. Features include:

2, can get up to fifteen gray levels, so there are more levels; black watermark area thickness can reach 40μ, thicker than the average thickness of 15~20μ paper, so there is better contrast; and better Details and watermark clarity.

3, can get additional security measures not available in long net paper, such as security lines.

4. Add long cotton fiber to the wood pulp to improve the service life of the paper. On the rotary paper machine, the watermark is formed by the accumulation of fibers on the surface of the watermark, and the watermark is formed simultaneously with the paper, which means that the watermark can be filled into the peaks and valleys of the circular mesh mold to form a very clear watermark.

With the development of electronic technology, there is now the introduction of electronic watermarked paper. According to the British "Times" reported on May 3, 1999, a system called "Wei Ba" uses chaos theory to encode data into the background of documents. This kind of "micro-bar" is invisible to the naked eye, but it can be read by a scanner and cracked its password. Only the original printing plate can be printed, and any precision printing equipment cannot copy or print only some ambiguous images. According to the development company, it is almost impossible to decipher the coding system of "Wei Ba" from a mathematical point of view.

Second, Security thread security paper

Refers to a gold or plastic thread placed in the middle of the paper during the papermaking process. The earliest used metal wire is now made of polyester plastic wire, micro-letter safety wire, fluorescent safety wire, etc. The shape of the safety line is straight, wavy, zigzag, and the like. According to the relevant information, the new version of the US dollar banknotes not only embeds the metal wire in the paper, but also shrinks the text that can only be seen with a high magnification magnifying glass. In recent years, a thermal safety thread has been introduced, which is pink at room temperature and opaque. When the temperature is locally increased by fingers, as long as it reaches 37 degrees Celsius, the printed text will appear partially. There is also a safety line - the laser holographic security line produces a color change due to different viewing angles.

Put a safety thread in the paper, the width of the line can be as small as 1mm. If multiple safety lines are placed at the same time, the spacing of the lines can be as small as 4mm. The safety line can print the patterns and texts required by the user. According to the different difficulty requirements of the anti-counterfeiting, the printed patterns and characters can be made hollow or non-hollow.

The safety line in banknote printing is also the focus of research in various countries: for example, the UK adopts a window-opening transmission safety line, France develops a safety line for part of the aluminizing process, and Finland uses a fluorescent safety line. Biochemical anti-counterfeiting mark is a major breakthrough in the development of anti-counterfeiting technology. Recently, foreign biological research institutions have successfully developed, mainly printing on the self-adhesive label to achieve anti-counterfeiting purposes. Digital deformation anti-counterfeiting technology has also been applied in foreign countries. This technology is applicable to any printed matter that requires Arabic numerals. The deformation is realized by computer. There is no rule to follow, and the identification is also through the computer.

Third, Laser security paper

The anti-counterfeiting technology of laser is combined with paper to make anti-counterfeit paper. For example, using holographic anti-counterfeiting technology and special equipment, the holographic image is made at a specific position of the banknote to improve the anti-counterfeiting performance, and its characteristics are as follows:

1. Since the holographic pattern is directly formed on the paper, the plastic information layer is removed, so there is little possibility of being copied;

2, the pattern on the paper can be designed, plated, produced according to the requirements of the business, the different textures, grams of paper (70 ~ 400 grams), such as coated paper, cardboard, cardboard, and like ordinary paper, and then Perform offset printing, silk screen printing, etc.;

3, the price is only slightly more expensive than the ordinary composite gold and silver cardboard, equivalent to the price of holographic anti-counterfeiting trademarks, and saves the labor costs of labeling, so it is easy to be accepted by the merchant;

4. It can be weathered in the soil after being discarded, and will not pollute the environment.

At present, laser anti-counterfeiting paper has played a role in packaging and printing of certain cigarettes, wine, cosmetics and food. For example, Shengli Oilfield Aluminum Foil Composites Factory has recently produced a filmless holographic dark anti-counterfeiting printing wrapper. It has pre-press and post-print full-page anti-counterfeiting. The whole paper can be designed and produced with special edition or ordinary version of laser anti-counterfeiting image with a width of more than 800 mm. The pattern is implied and can be seen even with multiple layers of ink coverage. It has excellent light refraction and does not affect the design and printing theme.

Fourth,  Red and blue fiber silk, color point encryption paper

In papermaking, colored fibers such as red and blue or colored chips (dots) are incorporated into the pulp, or sprinkled on the surface of the paper before the paper is unshaped, and fluorescently reflected under ultraviolet light, so that the paper has a color different from the paper itself. fiber. The red and blue fiber filaments and colored dots incorporated into the pulp are both colored fibers and colorless fluorescent fibers. The former can be seen on the paper with the naked eye. The latter and the color point must be visible under the ultraviolet radiation. The color is red, blue, orange, etc. The shape can be thick and thin, and can be long or short. Fibers and color points are generally randomly distributed, so how much different their density is. In addition to plant fibers, in recent years, metal foils and plastic round pieces have been incorporated into the pulp for anti-counterfeiting. For example, a banknote issued in Italy has a metal foil that is invisible to the naked eye, and sounds when inspected with a special identifier. In addition, the British study used a special fiber to lay a small piece, then used a specific light source to illuminate from a specific angle to obtain a stereoscopic projection, and stored it in a computer, and then verified the authenticity by examining the projection of the mark.

Five. Anti-copy paper

One is a full-absorption type copy-proof paper, which is blue and brown-red outside. The paper on the paper can only be seen through the light, and the copy is dark. But this paper is not convenient for everyday use. The other is to coat the surface of the paper with a very thin layer of aluminum (but does not affect printing), because the aluminum protective layer can disperse or deflect the light of the photocopier, making the copy appear black. Some copy-protected papers will have the words "copy" and "invalid", which will prevent color copying of important files. In addition, there is also anti-copy paper that changes color or reveals hidden text when it encounters the photocopier, such as Fraser.

Labels has developed a substance for color copying. When a sample such as a trademark is copied by a color photocopying machine or scanned by a scanner, the word 'VOID' is clearly produced, and the logo is printed in black and white.

Sixth, Paper with trace additives

A very small amount of anti-element is added to a portion of the pulp or paper using the principle that the organism has an anti-primary antibody-specific reaction. In the detection, the corresponding specific antibody is used to bind to it, and the authenticity is discriminated by the presence or absence of a reaction such as color development or fluorescence.

Seven. Chemical encryption paper

Adding a special compound to the gel when it is added to the pulp or when sizing the surface of the paper, the chemically-encrypted paper can develop or fluoresce when applied with a specific chemical. Tickets for foreign ball games are printed on this type of paper. When checking, just take a pen dipped in a special reagent and draw it on the ticket surface.

Eight. Ion medium special security paper

Relying on the large-scale heavy ion accelerator controlled by the state, the special anti-counterfeit paper of super-ionic medium which combines the ion micro-hole technology and the paper-making technology solves the problem of the anti-counterfeiting and identification of the effective documents which have long been plagued.
