First, what is Hy-Bryte ink
Hy-Bryte is a type of UV ink, but it is not much different from other general inks in use. It can be cleaned with a general lotion, without the need for a dedicated ink roller, blanket, plate, etc. Because it has a wide clear water supply point and does not produce oxidized crust in the ink tank, it is very stable on UV printers and does not contain volatile solvents. From the table below, you can clearly compare the differential adhesion settings of general inks, UV inks, and Hy-Bryte.
Advantages of using Hy-Bryte inks
1.Hy-Bryte ink is more easy to handle than general UV ink, excellent printability and can improve the printing efficiency. Check the UV condition when starting up to understand whether Hy-Bryte is suitable.
2. When changing from the general ink and glazing system to the Hy-Bryte system, it can be found to have high gloss characteristics and there is no need to wait while proceeding to the next process. Although the cost of the ink will increase, the use of Hy-Bryte ink will not crust, which can reduce the number of times of cleaning the ink roller, and it is a very cost-effective choice in terms of improving overall printing efficiency and quality. Hy-Bryte can print non-absorbent materials such as lead and metal paper.
3. The use of Hy-Bryte ink is no different from general ink. Although it is slightly more expensive, it does not require the use of special plates or lotions.

Note on using Hy-Bryte inks:
1. Do not mix with other inks Because Hy-Bryte inks are made of special resins, they cannot be mixed with other general inks or UV inks.
2. Use Hy-Bryte-specific varnish When using UVOP light, it is necessary to check the intensity of light when using Hy-Bryte ink with UV ink roller glazing or water-based varnish without causing a decrease in brightness and adhesion.
3. Recommendations for cleaning with general lotion When using a general lotion, the wet roll must be removed. If you want to completely remove the color remaining on the ink roller, it is recommended to wipe it with your hands or a general UV lotion. As for the cleaning blanket, it can be cleaned automatically using a general lotion.
4. Using the general PS version When the concentration of the bath liquid or alcohol is too high, the image of the PS plate will be destroyed, and the plate will be easily damaged under the exposure of long-term UV light. Therefore, in addition to short-cut printing below 10,000 brushes, it is best to use UV Special edition or baked plate.
