Recyclia launched the first system in Spain to collect and manage printer toners and ink cartridges, which manufacturers must recycle and manage since August 15. The new systems Tragatóner and Tragatinta make Recyclia an entity. The ability to recycle all types of e-waste.

Deploy 42,000 collection points
In the first year, Recyclia plans to collect 1,000 tons of printing consumables (approximately 6.6M units), equivalent to 65% of the printing consumables sold by Ecofimática manufacturers on the market. Mainly from domestic ink cartridges accounted for 23%, the remaining 77% will correspond to toner cartridges, the main collection channel of toner cartridges will be distribution channels.
Recyclia's strategy will be based on close proximity to users, with 42,000 collection points installed in large stores, commercial establishments, large corporations, public buildings and cleaning sites in just one year. It will also create a web page and a mobile app to query the most recent points and prove the traceability of the container from its origin in the distributor or the company that requested the collection to its final processing at the processing plant.
According to Recyclia CEO José Pérez, “End users can process printers on average four or five years later, but every 4 or 5 months.” Our goal is to provide effective, actionable regulatory solutions. To make users aware of the importance of recycling waste, its most common destination is the garbage container.
