Japan's manufacturing industry is very developed. Its production management system is also a reference model for global companies. Printing companies are no exception. This time I went to Japan to study and study. What I want to share with everyone is to make two key words for lean production.

Keyword 1: To implement it down-to-earth

Standardization is an important part of lean production. In Japan's printing companies, their degree of standardization is not necessarily much higher than ours, but it can play a huge role, and its core is to implement it down-to-earth.

Keywords 2: careful and serious attitude

The lean production of Japan's printing companies has been doing so well because of the meticulous attitude of the Japanese. I think this has a certain relationship with the national character of Japan. Why do you say this? Mainly based on the following two aspects.

On the one hand, the overall level of education of the Japanese people is relatively high and the relative drop is relatively small. This makes their collective consciousness very strong and their ideological level is basically at the same level. Therefore, it is easy to implement a system. In this regard, our country is somewhat different. Relatively speaking, the overall level of education in our country is relatively low, which leads to uneven levels of quality of the people, which make it easy for them to perform their own actions and cannot successfully implement a certain system.

On the other hand, Japanese companies have a high degree of cooperation with employees, which is very important for companies. In Japanese companies, whether they are leading cadres or ordinary employees, the cultural heritage and habits in the bones are more consistent, which makes them a higher degree of overall match, action is easy to be consistent, and opinions can be more unified in the implementation of the provisions.

Chinese culture is diversified. It is reflected in the enterprise that each company's corporate culture is not the same, so that employees in different companies will be integrated into different corporate culture, the method of doing things will be different, there are differences in the degree of cooperation.

Visiting Japanese printing companies, I not only envy them to do well, but also enhance our confidence in lean manufacturing. The reason why lean manufacturing in Japanese printing companies is doing well is no more than two words: serious. In fact, we also seek seriousness in doing things. Therefore, we must stick to this serious attitude and do every little thing well.

In the old saying, “A house does not sweep, how can we sweep the world?” This actually emphasizes “lean” in lean production. Since there is nothing wrong with the direction of lean production, we will continue to do it. Only by doing small things one by one can we achieve great results. We cannot change the entire society. Then we change ourselves, change our own team, adhere to our own ideals, and make every detail possible. The future will surely make a difference.

From September 12 to 19, 2015, Du Yida, general manager of Baoding Zhengda Printing Co., Ltd., participated in the Japan Lean Printing Visit and the IGAS inspection and exchange delegation organized by Ke Yin Media. After returning from Japan's study tour, the general manager of Du Yida talked about the harvest of the "learning" of Japan's lean printing production.

In 2018, the majority of printing companies were an important year for business transformation. A large number of small and medium-sized printing companies have gradually entered a new phase, that is, they are beginning to face the issue of how to proceed.

Today, with increasingly fierce competition and increasingly regulated markets, it is more difficult than ever to attempt to achieve a sustainable living space in the industry. Relying on "low prices" to survive has become a printing company's ambiguity.

The pressure of environmental protection is big, stop production for today, and fine tomorrow.

Excessive printing capacity and homogenous competition

When you sell a piece, I sell fifty hairs.

When do you hurt each other?

Difficulties in recruitment, rapid increase in manpower costs, and profit margins have been meagre.

Where does the benefit come from?

Every CEO of a small and medium-sized company is struggling to find a way out.

What is the way out for printing companies?
