On March 15, 2018, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ) and the National Standards Committee issued the National Standard No. 3 Announcement of 2018 and promulgated four national standards for printing. They are GB/T 36059-2018 "Quality Control and Inspection Methods for Gravure Printing Process of Paper Packaging" and GB/T 36060-2018 "Control Requirements and Inspection Methods for Bonding Process of Waterborne Adhesives for Hardcover Books", GB/T 36062- 2018 "Application Requirements and Test Methods for Digital Printing Systems", GB/T 36064-2018 "Quality Control and Inspection Methods for Gravure Printing Process of Plastic Flexible Packages". The four standards will be formally implemented on October 1, 2018.
