On April 21, the "4th Printing Technology and Creativity Awards Post-Competition Exchange and Guangzhou Restaurant Brand Culture In-Depth Experience Day" event was successfully held. It was hosted by the Hong Kong Printing Industry Investment Association, co-organized by the Printing Technology Research Center (APTEC), the Innovation Center of Guangdong Packaging Technology Association, and the Dongguan Publishing and Printing Industry Association, and jointly hosted with the distinguished Guangzhou Restaurant Group. The event aimed to deepen the competition's "promoting production through competition" cooperation results, building a bridge for in-depth communication between printing and packaging enterprises and brand owners, advancing from "technological dialogue" to "cultural resonance," and jointly exploring future pathways for collaborative innovation within the industry chain.

The event was divided into two parts: a morning technical exchange and an afternoon brand culture experience. In the morning, participants visited the core smart manufacturing base of Guangzhou Restaurant-Likoufu Food Co., Ltd. Panyu Factory. In the afternoon, they went to the Wenchang flagship store of Guangzhou Restaurant to immersively experience over ninety years of brand heritage and the culture of Cantonese cuisine.

Welcome to the Hong Kong Printing Industry Investment Association, the co-organizing units, and all representatives of printing and packaging enterprises to Likoufu. As the modern food production base of Guangzhou Restaurant Group, Likoufu has always centered on safety, quality, innovation, and culture, providing high-quality food to both domestic and global markets. The industry is currently facing two major transformations: first, the full implementation of the national "Food Packaging Safety Law" makes the safety, compliance, and traceability of food packaging a mandatory baseline; second, the special governance against "excessive packaging" continues to tighten, making green, simple, lightweight, and recyclable packaging an inevitable industry trend.

Against this backdrop, we no longer need mere processing suppliers, but strategic partners who can align with our brand, solve pain points, and create value. We hope that all printing and packaging companies will work with us to deeply collaborate in three key directions:

Compliance first: jointly implement food packaging safety regulations and green packaging requirements, achieving full-chain compliance and control;

Balancing cost and safety: optimize packaging structures and material solutions, improve logistics efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure transportation safety;

Experience and value upgrade: transform packaging from a 'product container' into a 'brand carrier,' conveying culture and enhancing user experience and emotional value.

The primary goal of this grand competition and exchange event is to promote printing and packaging enterprises' technological creativity so that it aligns more precisely with the market, brands, and consumers. President Feng Wenqing provided a clear positioning and long-term vision for the CTV Color Management Bay Area Standard on-site: The CTV standard is based on the industrial collaboration advantages of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, combining technological advancement, practicality, and universality. In the future, it aims not only to be fully promoted throughout the Greater Bay Area and become a unified quality benchmark in the region but also to expand from the Bay Area to the whole country and internationally. It seeks to create a general printing and packaging standard with Chinese independent intellectual property rights that can connect with the global supply chain, enhancing the international influence and competitiveness of China's printing and packaging industry.

The director shared on-site about CTV color management technology, providing a detailed explanation of accurate color reproduction, data-driven quality control, and full-chain verification systems. This offers professional technical support for the high-quality implementation of printing and packaging, helping to promote standardized and regulated development in the industry.

The industry currently faces a common challenge: how can excellent ideas be perfectly transformed into outstanding packaging? From design drafts to finished products, from color reproduction to structural adaptation, from safety compliance to user experience, each step tests the supply chain's collaborative capability. Guangzhou Restaurant highly appreciates this contest's "promote production through competition" model and hopes to establish long-term, deep, and stable strategic cooperation with the association, all co-organizing units, and outstanding printing companies, jointly exploring new approaches and solutions for creative implementation, quality enhancement, cost optimization, and green compliance.

All participants will go to the Wenchang Main Store of Guangzhou Restaurant to attend a networking lunch and visit the Cantonese Cuisine Cultural Museum.
