1. The binder of the curing ink cannot be selected from only one kind of photo-solid resin, and most of them are assembled by using two or more kinds of photo-curable resins. The choice of the light-solid binder depends on the object of use, the method of construction, and the nature of the film. Acrylic unsaturated polyester is the main binder of the ink. The resin has high ultraviolet light reactivity, can form a hard bright film, has suitable flexibility, and can meet the needs of ultraviolet light solid.

    2. Pigment selection

    The pigment selection requirements are:

    1 The pigment blending property is better, and the UV curable ink will not be gelled during the effective storage period;

    2 When the pigments are used together, the amount of each pigment in the photo-solid ink must be accurate;

    3 The pigment has high concentration, bright color, excellent dispersibility and sufficient tinting strength;

    4 Select a pigment with a small absorption rate of ultraviolet light spectrum to avoid affecting the curing speed of the photo-curable ink;

    5 When the pigment is exposed to ultraviolet light or during the curing reaction, it does not change color.

    Different pigments have different absorption and reflectance for the ultraviolet spectrum. Therefore, the curing speed of the photo-curable ink is also different depending on the pigment. The pigment with good transparency has high UV transmittance and fast fixation speed; carbon black has higher UV absorption capacity and slowest curing; white pigment has strong light reflectivity and will affect curing. According to the above principles, the pigments selected for the ultraviolet drying ink are mainly titanium white powder, benzidine yellow, phthalocyanine blue, permanent red, peach red, red, dark red, carbon black and the like as the main raw materials.

    3. Photopolymerization initiator selection

    When a photopolymerization initiator is added, if a part of the photopolymerization initiator has been added to the photo-curable resin, an appropriate amount of the photopolymerization initiator should be added depending on the pigment when designing the ink formulation. Generally, there are two methods for adding a photopolymerization initiator: first, a small amount of a photopolymerization initiator is added to the photo-solid binder, and a part of the photopolymerization initiator is added; and second, a photopolymerization is added without photopolymerization. Add the agent when it is filled with ink.

    4. Adjuvant selection

    Wax is often used as an adjuvant in the ink to improve the abrasion resistance of the ink and reduce the stickiness. The basic requirements for the wax for ink are high melting point, microcrystalline, such as microcrystalline wax and polyethylene wax, and a small amount of a tertiary amine, a derivative of phosphine, and the like.
