To compose a beautiful, comfortable, and appropriate newspaper color version, the editor must have a relatively complete understanding of the composition and function of the color, and use the color reasonably according to the reader's reading needs, so that the color is not only a palette for dressing the layout. First, on the composition of color

The first is the information function. As the media, the newspaper's first function is to spread information and ideas. Therefore, the primary purpose of using color is the same, not simply to beautify the layout, but to convey information. The strength of color is the ability to visually convey visual information more intuitively. In this regard, the role of color news photos is obvious. How the title plays a role in color does not seem to be a problem in the past: the red set generally indicates a happy event, usually black. It is important to note that because color has this strength and punctuation function, it should be extra careful when using it. If you arrange color patches on the layout, or if you use too much color, it will cause confusion for the reader's line of sight.
Another important feature of color is the organization of functions. By reasonably using the powerful features of color, you can play its organizational functions. We should take full account of this function of color when designing newspapers and use it to show the relationship between manuscripts.
Third, how to use color in the layout editing
When editing a layout, you need to pay attention to the following aspects when using good colors:
1, the use of solid color. Solid color refers to a single color with 100% saturation. When the two solid colors are matched together, they can be strongly contrasted, which makes one color bulge forward and the other color backwards, and this contrast produces a strong three-dimensional effect. However, it should be noted that a strong solid contrast will have a collision effect, so be careful when using it.
2, the use of light and dark. Black and white is the strongest contrast between light and dark, and this contrast can also create a vivid three-dimensional sense.
