1, on the text: Generally, when doing the draft, it is best to turn all the text into a curve. In this case, the output will not go wrong, and it is convenient for the output company, and the film will be faster. Otherwise, you have to wait for the output company to install the fonts before you can send them, which takes unnecessary time. Here, there is a question to remind everyone. If the text is in the clipping range, it is impossible to turn the curve without selecting the text separately. Be careful with this point~~ Generally, if you want to check if there is a full-turn curve, you will use crtl+alt+e to call up the faceplate for the search and replace, and find the function of “Find any font” in the search.
2, on the link: the link picture, or the old problem, remember to use CMYK mode. Although the RGB format can be automatically converted to CMYK output when the film is released, the color and the actual color are too different. Also, when copying the disc, remember to check carefully if all the linked files are copied.
3. About EPS: In FH, if you import an EPS file, one thing to note is that when you rotate the file, the white part of the picture will become transparent (especially the barcode). This should be done with care. In fact, it is the reason for the display, not the transparency. If it is not checked, the text will be pressed by the barcode. When it is time, it can only be returned.
4, on TIF: If the imported file has TIF format, remember to check each file, whether there is a channel is not deleted. Because if the channel is not deleted, the output will be a few more colors (depending on the number of channels). If the TIF file is output, don't use the compression format at the end, the output will be very slow.
5, on the gradient: After comparison, in all software output, the gradient of AI output is the most beautiful, followed by PS, then FH and CD. So if there is a gradient in the file, it is best to use PS to import FH. Because if it is a large area gradient, the FH output is also more prone to error, depending on the quality of the output company. But if you use PS, you will definitely have no problem.
6, on the imprint: This is to pay attention to whether there is anything to press without pressure, what should not be pressed and pressed. In general, black is automatically set to imprinted when the output is output from the company. That is to say, even if there are black text or color blocks in your file without embossing, the output company will automatically set it at the time of output. FH has a very useful function to display the embossed place, but there are several times when you can't see it even if you emboss it. Be careful: First, when importing grayscale files, you can set the embossed , but it does not show up when displayed. Second, when using FH to make a gradient, if the gradient is set to imprint, it is not visible. These two places should be especially careful.
7, on the effect: Generally speaking, in FH, do not use "Apple + operation + D" (sorry, forgot what the PC's shortcut keys are) any effect of this version (this seems to be the first three exceptions I have to wait until I have seen FH.) More than 70% of the organic rate will go wrong. If you have to use it, be sure to communicate clearly with the export company.
8, on the registration color: In FH, its registration color function is quite powerful. Can be displayed in each color version of the film, so a little attention is to see if there are other words or color blocks filled in the registration color in the file, the check method is ctrl+alt+e "Find color" in "Find", select the color of the set, and select "Document". Take a closer look at whether there are other places besides the corners filled with the registration color.
