With the improvement of people's quality of life, the current shaped bags have gradually become one of the means for Chinese commodity manufacturers to increase brand awareness and increase product selling points.
The production and processing of special-shaped bags can be divided into reviewing, typesetting, printing, compounding, slitting, bag making, die-making, and filling of straws. The key points and difficulties in production are bag making, die-making, reviewing, and typesetting. Special attention to the problem, while printing, compounding processes and other types of flexible packaging products are basically the same.

Review and typesetting
In the review and layout process of the shaped bag, the bleeding, the direction of the bag and the number of channels are several key issues that must be controlled.
1. Control of bleeding
The biggest problem of the design of the shaped bag is that there is no design bleeding position. The shaped bag produced according to this design draft will have the problem of “cutting more and losing content, cutting less white edges” during the cutting process. , seriously affecting the appearance of the product. The bleeding position of the shaped bag is generally 3mm or more, so for the convenience of production, the design draft shown in Figure 2 should be redesigned for bleeding.
2. The choice of bag direction
There are two types of "out of the way" and "longitudinal" in the direction of the bag. The front side of the shaped bag, the left or right side of the pattern is “crossed out” when the bag is first formed. The front side of the shaped bag, the pattern foot or the head is first “out of the way” when the bag is made. The selection of the direction of the bag should take into account the characteristics of the shaped bag, the characteristics of the processing equipment, the requirements of the customer and other factors. Improper selection will greatly affect the production efficiency, and even lead to the inability to produce. The profiled stand-up pouch shown in Figure 1 should be selected as "crossing out".
3. Control of the number of channels
The number of channels refers to the number of special-shaped bags that can be produced in one direction in the horizontal layout. This is also a key item in the typesetting of the shaped bags. The layout should be based on two factors: processing difficulty and production efficiency.
Bag making and die
The bag making and die-cutting process is a forming process of the shaped bag, and two problems are worth noting: the design of the sealing knife and the selection of the molding method.
1. The design of the sealing knife
The position of the knife should be accurate, match the pattern on the shaped bag, and reserve the proper position and size for the straw at the seal. If the position of the reserved position at the seal is too large, the seal is not easy to be sealed, and the problem of bag leakage is easy to occur; if the reserved position size is too small, the straw is difficult to fit in. When determining the size of the seal, it is generally based on the circumference of the straw. If you encounter a straw with irregular shape, you can use a soft wire to surround the straw for one week, and leave 2 to 3 mm on the basis of half the length of the cord. The balance can be.
In the process of edge sealing, it is necessary to pay attention to keep the gap between the sealing die and the straw uniform, to avoid the problem of bag leakage due to poor air tightness. If the airtightness of the shaped bag is found to be poor in the random test, it should be stopped in time to check and re-seal the sealing die. If it is found that the entire side of the shaped bag is not tightly sealed, it can be compensated by adding a high temperature cloth on the side of the seal.
2. Selection of molding methods
Shaped bags are available in two main forms: bagging directly on the bag making machine or forming a bag on the die press.
(1) Take out the bag directly on the bag making machine
The advantage of this molding method is that it saves time and trouble, is relatively economical, and the molding process and the edge-sealing process are completed at the same time, and there are fewer problems such as "size and size", leaking bags or insufficient sealing.
However, its shortcoming is that it is difficult to adjust the machine. As long as the design layout is slightly problematic, it will cause a lot of trouble.
In order to take the bag directly on the bag making machine, the die must be designed and mounted on the beam of the fixed sealing knife. The shape of the die must be consistent with the shape of the shaped bag. In addition, pay attention to a technical problem: to find a few suitable points according to the shape characteristics of the shaped bag, and make a few small holes on the die (similar to "connecting dots") As shown in Figure 3, the purpose of this is to make the shaped bag not completely cut on the bag making machine. Under the traction force of the rubber roller, the shaped bag can be smoothly dragged to the "link" The bag is cut, and the shaped bag is completely cut at the mouth of the bag to facilitate bagging and bundling.
Without these "links", the shaped bag would easily fall into the bag making machine and cause a malfunction. However, the new bag making machine has been improved by technology, and it also has the functions of bag making, press cutting and bag out, but it is expensive.
After the die design is designed, the appropriate cutter blade should also be selected. The sharpness and hardness of the cutter blade must meet certain requirements, both to ensure that the cut portion is cut under the pressure of the beam spring, and also to ensure that the knife edge does not occur under the pressure of a long time. problem. Generally a good cutter blade can make 100,000 shaped bags.
In addition, since the die will generate considerable pressure during the downward pressing process, the beam of the fixed die must be kept stable and can withstand a certain weight; the deformation of the beam spring must be good to ensure that it can be generated during the deformation process. Constant pressure; the fixed die and the steel plate subjected to the cutting force must be flat, so that the shaped bag that is pressed and cut will be smooth and free of burrs.
(2) Forming a bag on a die machine
The second molding method is to process the mold according to the shape of the shaped bag, and then complete the forming of the bag on the die machine.
The advantage of this method is that the shaped bag has better forming quality, less burrs, and multiple shaped bags can be formed at one time.
The disadvantage is that the production cost of the mold is high, and a special-shaped bag may need to use several molds, and the efficiency is low; the mold cannot be shared, and the next time the other types of shaped bags are produced, the original mold is basically not used, and the waste is large; Edge and molding cannot be completed at the same time, which takes more time.
Therefore, this solution is only suitable for the production of some temporary and difficult shaped bag activities, and large-volume jobs are not suitable for this solution.
