Safety hazards of bad operating habits

1. Loading (with blanket)
Customary operation: There are many plates on the general rotary machine. The operators are accustomed to two or more groups at the same time to save time and improve work efficiency. In order to speed up the progress, and after the temporary installation, the master also came to help, that is, one person pressed the plate, one person jog switch.
Safety hazard: When two or more people are working at the same time (with a blanket), if the attention is not concentrated, the hand slips or an unexpected machine malfunctions, it is easy to get caught in the finger and cause personal injury.
Precaution:
(1) The loading work can be carried out by one person. Gently pinch the printing plate and the pad by hand to ensure that the plate is not scratched and the pad is flat;
(2) If there is a mistake in the installation or if you encounter “connected electricity”, the hand should be released immediately, and do not hold the plate. Since it is a punctual car, it will not cause much damage. If it is pinched, it will cause other accidents;
(3) The situation of various models is different. If you really need to push the plate by hand, you can rub some talcum powder on the plate to prevent accidents.
2. Shovel
Customary operation: Due to the need for ink leveling, the operator is accustomed to holding the ink shovel back and forth on the ink roller to level the ink, add ink or remove excess ink from the ink roller.
Safety hazard: When the equipment is running at high speed, such operation is a dangerous operation for multiple accidents. Once the ink shovel angle pin is offset or the ink shovel encounters uneven surface of the squeezing roller during operation, the ink shovel will be wound into the main string. An accident occurs between the ink roller and the rubber roller, and the printing plate or the rubber roller is scratched, and the blanket or the roller is crushed, and even the ink shovel is accidentally caused by personal troubles.
Precaution:
(1) First of all, the heel should be stable, concentrate, hold the ink shovel, and avoid looking around.
(2) When it is found that the amount of ink in the printed product is insufficient and the ink must be manually added, the ink shovel in the hand must be gripped, and the small ink roller should be lifted up, and then the roller should be stopped before operation.
(3) When shoveling ink, the ink shovel should rely on the main squeezing roller, and lean against the rubber roller. It should not be suspended. The contact angle between the ink shovel and the squeezing roller should not be less than 45°.
3. Remove the dirt
Customary operation: Whether it is a rotary machine or a sheetfed offset press, the phenomenon that the ink or rubber roller and the paper falling off are stuck to the graphic part of the printing plate often occur. Affect product quality. At this time, the operator often removes the dirt with his fingers while the machine is running.
Safety hazard: This kind of operation is a dangerous operation that violates regulations, and there are many accidents caused by printing. The operator can find the position of the dirty spot and erase it when the machine is running at a high speed. The available time is quite short, and the force can't be wiped off. Only when you start early, you can use it to stick to the plate (or ink roller). The dirty spots on it are removed. With a few mistakes, it is possible for a finger to enter the plate cylinder. If it is suspended and not supported, it is very likely that one hand will be brought into the drum, causing a rolling accident.
Precaution:
(1) Regularly check all safety devices and main motor brake mechanisms of the machine every week. Make sure the machine is sensitive, reliable, and that problems are fixed in time.
(2) Pay attention to the operation, do not hang the operation, when rubbing the dirty spots, the palm must be on the pull shaft between the plate cylinder and the blanket cylinder, or on the water roller protective safety cover, pay special attention to the palm The force of the support is greater than the force of the finger to wipe the dirty spots.
(3) If there are too many dirty spots affecting printing, stop the inspection and replace the rubber roller or paper and ink in time to solve the problem fundamentally.

Failure to comply with workshop production specifications

This kind of accident is also greatly reduced due to the improvement of the safety performance of the equipment.
Safety accident caused by defects in equipment design
It can be said that the defect of equipment safety design is an indispensable cause of accidents. In the past, the old machines were not in place due to safety design, and there were many safety hazards. Work injuries caused by machines also occurred frequently. In the past, in some small printing houses, we often heard information that some paper cutters were cut off a finger. Of course, with the improvement of the machine and equipment, the unilateral problem of the equipment is gradually reduced.
Corporate security training is not in place
