1. Matching page
The signatures that are about to be folded are stacked one by one from the middle of the top, and finally the cover is overlaid on the top.
Books that are ordered by saddle stitching should not be too thick, otherwise the wire cannot penetrate, and the maximum number of pages can only be 100 pages. Therefore, books that use saddle-stitched books generally need to add more than 8 sets of pages. When adding pages to the storage hopper, you should try to tidy up a stack of pages so that the pages can enter the air to avoid sticking due to accumulation time or static electricity, which will affect the boot speed. In addition, for pages with uneven front-end pallets, the pages should be leveled when the book pages are renewed, so as to avoid downtime during the production process and affect production speed and output. Sometimes due to dry weather, etc., static electricity will be generated between the pages. At this time, it is necessary to sprinkle some water around the pages or humidify with a humidifier to remove static interference. When adding a cover, pay attention to whether there are any problems such as backwards, white pages, and double sheets.
2. Book
In the process of ordering, according to the thickness and material of the paper, the diameter of the wire is generally 0.2-0.7mm, and the order is two quarters of the top and bottom of the book block. The allowable error is within ±3.0mm. There are no bad nails, missing nails and heavy nails when ordering; the book is neat and clean; the feet are flat and firm; the distance is even and on the fold line; the skew of the signature is ≤2.0mm. During the bookbinding process, it is necessary to check frequently whether the booklet meets the standard requirements, and stop the problem in time after finding the problem.
3. Cutting
When cutting, according to the size and thickness of the book, the blade should be replaced in time to ensure that the cut book has no bleeding, no knife, no continuous page, no serious break, and the finished product has a skew error of ≤1.5mm.
4. Packing
Before packing, the quality of the finished product should be checked. The whole book should be neat and tidy. There are no obvious eight-fold wrinkles, dead folds, residual pages, dirty marks, etc. The page order is correct, and the center point of the page is the standard. The inward or outward error is ≤0.5mm. On the collection desk, you should organize the books neatly, and then pack them into books with the stacker. After the count is accurate, you can pack and paste the labels.
