1. When designing a file, be sure to set a higher pixel size, at least 300dpi, otherwise it is easy to become a low resolution image. Directly affect the print quality.
2. Bleeding is required for every company and every document. Inaccurate and inaccurate cutting will occur during the printing process. Normal books are bleeding on three sides. If it is a book of Wiro, it requires bleeding on all sides. Usually 2 to 3 mm. If you go to the printing company and say that the bleeding is not enough, it will be very troublesome to change it again. By the same token, the corner and page information must also be outside of 3 mm.
3. For easy proofing and printing, the black line K100 can't penetrate; when the black bitmap is placed on the background, it must be colored with black that is not hollowed out; the false shadow uses a single K color, and the large black block should be added C40%. M10%; the bottom is smooth and natural, not white; and if the spot color is used, please choose to wear it. Otherwise it will cause yin and yang. For spot colors, we all recommend a little burst. If you don't know the company's standards, you can ask the printing company for help.
4. When making documents, especially boxes and Wiro books, we often use the beer line. Because products that do not have to be stapled must be finished in the end, they must be cut or folded using the appropriate draft of beer documents. Like a box, it has folds and cuts. We demand that the fold be made into a dotted line, and cut it into strength. All beer documents must be made into spot color overprints. Because the beer line is not exported.
5. When exporting problems, be sure to pay attention to not having low graphics and fonts that must be fully embedded. However, changing the line is not conducive to the later revision of the document.
6. Provide documents to the printing company. You can provide the final PDF file or provide layout files. If it is a PDF file, make sure it is an OK file. The layout file must provide the pictures and fonts used to the printing company.
7. The printing company will ask you to provide a set of samples that can be used for proofreading. Make sure this is consistent with your final document. At the same time, the printing company is also requested to provide a final set of blue paper. (ie blue paper output from the back end), be sure to check it carefully. Even if you give the printing company a PDF, there is a risk of error in different systems.
In addition to the saddle stitching, wireless binding, lock binding, hardcover, and ventilated adhesive, another common binding is wiro book binding, similar to a notebook, with a metal ring or other material on the spine. Into the book of the past, and the paper-paper book, directly smashed.

4. Hardcover: The hardcover book meat generally uses string glue. However, there are more complicated post-processing processes in hardcover. For example, hardcover writing is shell surface. The practice of shell surface is generally to remove the normal cover, plus an additional 15mm around the edge, and the shell surface is larger than the book meat. Specifically look at the requirements of each section of the book.
5. Ventilation Glue: According to the principle of immiscibility between oil and water, we must always avoid ink on the glue when it is installed. If there is ink, we need to cover it with a white block when finishing the file. Usually processed in the printing company, without the designer's own processing). However, there is no need to worry about this problem in ventilating plastic containers. After the book is finished, it will be polished on the spine with a special machine, so that the spine will wear down a little, so that the glue will be directly on the white paper and will not be on the ink.
General bound books are simple, and the biggest difference between hardcover books and hardcover books is the problem of seals and shells. Each printing company's standards will be different.
There is also a common Wiro book binding. When we do a document, under normal circumstances, in addition to the edge of the spine, the other three sides should be bleeding three millimeters, but Wiro's book requires bleeding on all sides because it has no spine and is cut on all sides. Then use a special mold to make a small hole in the serial port of the spine, and then use a ring made of the specified material to pass through.
There is also a book, called a paper book, which is not very different from a normal document when it is produced. The major difference is in the printing and binding process. However, when making a document, it is necessary to make a double-page publication.
