When inspecting a batch of cartons, it can be initially visually inspected, but must be done in a certain order.

1. Check the carton for bundles or collision damage, whether there is rain or moisture;

2. Draw a carton from the middle of the sample bundle to check the print quality, die-cut shape, crease condition and cardboard appearance;

3. Open the carton and check the slotted cut, joint size, cover slip and the quality of the flap;

4. Cut 80×30 mm cardboard and check the material and shape;

5. Check the overlapping quality of the upper and lower bottoms and the size of the carton;

6. Joint bonding (stitching, tape) quality.

Where the carton fails, it should be recorded. In order to prove that it is not in compliance, it can be further tested in the laboratory.

For example, a rough check of the cardboard basis (g/m2) is insufficient, and the thickness of corrugated paper or cardboard paper can be measured because the thickness of the paper has a certain relationship with the basis weight. Precision inspections are carried out using a precision balance under constant temperature and humidity conditions. If the physical and chemical properties of the board, such as burst strength, compressive strength, etc., are also established in the technical specifications, they must be tested in accordance with the prescribed methods. These experiments can be carried out in the user's laboratory. If the user does not have testing methods, they can also be commissioned by a special testing institution.
