In the first eight months of this year, the import and export volume of paper products in China both increased. According to customs statistics, in the first 8 months, China exported a total of 3.102 million tons of paper and cardboard (uncut), a year-on-year increase of 23.3%, valued at 3.34 billion US dollars, an increase of 36%, of which news paper and kraft paper exports 14,000 tons and 93,000 tons, down 80.2% and 4.1% respectively; inorganic coated paper and corrugated paper respectively exported 2.066 million tons and 18,000 tons, respectively, up 28% and 70.7%; the growth rate of coated paper exports continued to expand, compared with the same period last year. 15.5%, the export volume was 897,000 tons.

    ASEAN has become China's largest export market for inorganic coated paper


    According to customs statistics, in the first 8 months, China exported 275,000 tons of inorganic coated paper to ASEAN, an increase of 25.3%. Among them, the export of inorganic coated paper to India was 162,000 tons, a substantial increase of 99.7%. China exported 113,000 tons and 58,000 tons of coated paper to the EU and the US respectively, down 39.4% and 54% respectively.


    In the first 8 months, China exported 117,000 tons of coated paper to ASEAN, an increase of 48.6%, accounting for 13% of China's total copper plate exports during the same period; and exported 197,000 tons of coated paper to Japan, an increase of 32.4%, accounting for the export of coated paper in China during the same period. The total amount is 21.9%. Affected by the "double opposition" of Europe and the United States, in the first 8 months, China exported 7,318 tons and 6410 tons of coated paper to the EU and the US respectively, a sharp drop of 93.5% and 82.6% respectively.


    In the first 8 months, China exported 3,966 tons of corrugated base paper to Malaysia, down 22.9% year-on-year; exported 2,695 tons of corrugated base paper to Sri Lanka, a sharp increase of 4.5 times; and exported 1,378 tons and 1,157 tons of corrugated base paper to emerging markets such as Russia and Kyrgyzstan. The export of corrugated base paper to Japan was 1,727 tons, a year-on-year increase of 41.8%.


    In the first eight months, China exported 25,000 tons of kraft paper to Iran, an increase of 18.5%.


    Nanjing Port is still the main export port


    In the first eight months, Nanjing Port exported 969,000 tons of paper products, an increase of 0.4%, valued at 960 million US dollars, an increase of 10%. The export value of Qingdao Port, Shanghai Port and Ningbo Port is divided into three categories, with exports of 630 million US dollars, 520 million US dollars and 500 million US dollars respectively.


    Nanjing Port exported 730,000 tons of inorganic coated paper, accounting for 35.3% of China's total exports of inorganic coated paper. Shenzhen Port exported 12,000 tons of corrugated paper, an increase of 95.2%. Urumqi Port exported 2,352 tons of corrugated paper to the three Central Asian countries. Qingdao Port exported 5,858 tons of newsprint, down 61.6%, accounting for 42.9% of China's total news paper exports. Shanghai Port and Qingdao Port are the main export ports for kraft paper, exporting 33,000 tons and 24,000 tons of kraft paper, respectively, up 15% and down 21.8%.


    Foreign-invested enterprises are the main exporters


    In the first 8 months, foreign-invested enterprises were still the main exporters of paper products in China, accounting for 78.2% of China's total exports of paper products, with a total export of 2.426 million tons, an increase of 18.4%. Foreign-invested enterprises exported 1.733 million tons of inorganic coated paper, an increase of 22.8%, accounting for 83.9% of China's total exports of inorganic coated paper; respectively exported 6586 tons and 57,000 tons of newsprint and kraft paper, down 86.8% and 21% respectively. .


    10 companies lead export trade


    In the first 8 months, 56.2% of China's paper and paperboard export business units were concentrated in the top 10 export enterprises, including Jindong Paper (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. and UPM (Changshu) Paper Co., Ltd. Ranked 1st and 2nd; Jinhuasheng Paper (Suzhou Industrial Park) Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Zhonghua Paper Co., Ltd. ranked 3rd and 4th respectively; Shandong Chenming Paper Group Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Asia Pulp & Paper Industry Co., Ltd. ranked 5th and 6th; Puyang Longfeng Paper Co., Ltd., Henan Jianghe Paper Co., Ltd., Hengan (China) Paper Co., Ltd. and Hainan Jinhai Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd. ranked 4th .
