In color printing, the color should conform to the basic requirements of the original. In addition to the reproduction of ancient paintings or other graphic arts and crafts with special requirements, valuable securities, etc., in general, color prints also have color quality requirements, how to use color printing process And the selection of raw materials to meet this quality requirement? The author believes that the following conditions must be grasped in order to obtain the effect of printing colorful colors.
First, the whiteness and absorption of paper
Whether the paper is white or white is the basis for whether the printing is bright or not. A completely white paper that reflects nearly all of the color. On the contrary, gray and black paper will absorb part of the color light, so that the hue, brightness and purity of the print are lost. If, from the color analysis, on the printed paper, in addition to the spatial mixing of the colored dots by the additive color method to form a visual color, the color of the surface of the paper without the printed dot (or pattern) actually participates. This kind of spatial mixing. Gray paper is like adding a small amount of ink to each color of ink, so visually, there is no color ink with high purity, which shows a dull color. Practice has proved that if the other conditions are exactly the same, the degree of vividness of the printed pictures of papers with different whiteness is completely different. It is analyzed from the comparison of color brightness. If you only print black text and white paper, because of black and white contrast, the black characters are darker and the white paper is whiter, forming a sharp contrast. From this it can be inferred that as the basis of printing, paper whiteness is directly related to the degree of vividness of the print. In the same way, paper with a reddish color makes the prints tend to be red, and the greenish paper tends to make the prints tend to be blue, which needs to be considered when using the color. In addition, the absorption of paper has a great influence on color. Absorbent paper will cause the pigment to penetrate into the paper together with the binder. The imprint cannot form a sufficiently full ink layer on the paper surface, which will cause the color saturation to be lost, and the color will be difficult to be vivid.
Second, the color ink blending and how to ensure bright colors in rolling, coating
It can be known from the purity of the three elements of color that the saturation of a color refers to the purity of the color. In order to make the color bright, it is necessary to pay attention to the selection of the color ink. In addition to the purity of the standard three original inks, there are many original inks which are the intermediate colors of the three primary colors, and their hue and original are used to increase the vividness of the imprint. To make the adjusted inks bright, it is especially important to avoid the complementary colors. For example, printing lush forests in the early spring, using light yellow can make the printed leaves tender green and lovely; if deep yellow ink, yellow ink contains red, red is green complementary color, printed leaves are black and turbid, can not reflect the breath of early spring, Not to mention bright colors. Pay attention to the cleaning of the ink tank and the ink roller during printing. This means that when changing the ink, it is necessary to prevent the color cast due to the ink tank, the ink roller and the water from being stained by the ink of the previous ink, especially when the dark color is changed to light color, and the black color and the blue color are printed yellow color, if not Note that the cleaning work will cause color cast, which will also affect the color of the printed matter.
Third, the complete copy of the network
When the dot is enlarged, the enlarged color has to reduce the thickness of the ink layer, which makes the low-tone and solid portions less thick, and the color saturation is weakened, and the hue characteristics inherent to the color cannot be exhibited. When the clothes are printed, the clothes look old, and the printed scenery is like a rainy day.
Fourth, the tinting strength of the ink and the effect of emulsification, dilution
In addition to the special case where the color needs to be diluted, the coloring power of the color ink is low, the auxiliary material is improperly added during the printing process to dilute the ink color, or the auxiliary material for suppressing drying is added, and the amount of ink emulsification is large. These factors can reduce printing ink and saturation. After printing on paper, it is slow to dry, has strong permeability, long penetration time, and makes the imprinted ink layer not thick, resulting in the imprint color is not very bright.
Fifth, the thickness of the imprinted ink layer
Whether the thickness of the imprinted ink layer is just full, which is a key factor in whether the color is the same or not, is particularly important when issuing a print. The thickness of each color ink layer, if deviated from the original document, will inevitably distort the hue of the superimposed picture. It is very important to control the amount of the first color of the basic color. If the basis is not well played, then the colors will be difficult to remedy in the future. In order to make the color close to the original, the amount of basic color is less, and the colors must be later. With the reduction, the resulting ink layers of the various colors are less, and there is no color at all. On the contrary, the base color ink layer is printed too thick, and the subsequent colors have to be thicker. If it is not thicker, the hue will be out of balance. Although the hue of the printed matter is close to the original, the printed picture is dull and thick due to the thick color of each color, the low-tone paste, and the high-tone flatness. The level is unclear, and there is no color effect. Under normal circumstances, in order to achieve the vivid color of the picture, the amount of ink should be printed. Only in this way, the ink layers of other color plates can be printed full, otherwise the ink color is too deep and too light to remedy, especially after printing deeper, it is more difficult. remedy. For example, if the yellow ink is excessive, it will inevitably lead to the imbalance of the color ratio of the picture, so that the magenta and cyan inks will also increase accordingly. Although the hue is close, the dots are smeared, resulting in a decline in the quality of the printed products.
