1. Applying to the smell of printing

2. The impression of color and fragrance is just right

Screen printing is used to avoid damage to the capsules in the fragrance ink. 1. What is the LCD?


The liquid crystal is a substance having liquid fluidity and having the same optical properties as the crystal, and a cholesteric liquid crystal is usually used. The appearance of such a liquid crystal is transparent liquid. The amount of liquid crystal blended in the ink is suitably 40% of the total ink amount, and the thickness of the ink film is about 30-60 μ. The printed product has different reversible reactions and irreversible reactions depending on the needs.


2. The color changes with temperature.


Liquid crystal printing is actually a special printing technique that uses temperature to change the color of the ink. First, a liquid crystal having such characteristics as to change the printing color is formed into a capsule, which is then wrapped with gelatin and then incorporated into an ink to prepare a special ink for liquid crystal printing.


The color change of the liquid crystal is discolored and folded according to the temperature, and can be changed to 4-7 colors. The general color change order is changed in the order of ink → tea → blue. When the liquid crystal is green, it means the standard temperature of the liquid crystal. For example, a liquid crystal for 20 ° C is used to exhibit green color at 20 ° C, a brown color at 18 ° C, and a blue color at 22 ° C or higher. The existing ink which is specially designed as a step by 2 °C can be selected from the temperature range of -10 ° C - 60 ° C for the purpose.


3. Printing method


The printing material for printing is preferably water-absorptive paper or synthetic paper. The printing method can be combined by offset printing, gravure printing, screen printing or two printing methods. When printing with a special liquid crystal ink, the characters and images are printed by offset printing or gravure printing, and then the ink sealed in the liquid crystal capsule is printed. It is necessary to pay attention to the fact that the capsule cannot be damaged, so most of the printing is performed by screen printing.


Liquid crystals are inherently colorless and transparent, and exhibit a variety of colors by means of light of a specific wavelength. For this reason, it is necessary to print the base of the printed liquid crystal portion in black.


In addition, since the liquid crystal ink is very wet, after the printing is completed, a transparent polypropylene film is kneaded on the surface thereof with an adhesive for moisture prevention. The surface processing of this laminated polypropylene film is performed in accordance with the needs and objectives of the visible pattern.


4. Use


In addition to electrical precision components and watches, the life of liquid crystals is generally about 1-2 years. The future research topic is how to extend its life.


Today, liquid crystal printing has a wide range of uses, such as printed display panels, toys, trademarks, simple body temperature belts, and health care appliances.


Here are two examples:
