The Printing Partnership Dialogue・Riyadh Event Successfully Concluded
On October 2nd local time, the "Bisheng Printing Cooperation Dialogue Riyadh" event with the theme of "New Opportunities, New Cooperation, New Future" was successfully held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Representatives from Chinese and Arab countries in the field of printing and publishing, as well as experts and scholars, engaged in in-depth dialogues on industrial development, production capacity cooperation, and cultural exchanges.
The attendees believed that printing, as a link of cultural exchange, has played an important role in promoting mutual learning among civilizations. The printing technology invented by China was introduced to the Arab world along the Silk Road, providing support for the inheritance of Arab academic classics and promoting the transmission of knowledge such as Arabic numerals, astronomy, calendar, medicine, etc., forming a vivid situation of "two-way travel" between Chinese and Arab civilizations.
The attending guests expressed that the exchange and cooperation between China and Arab countries in the field of printing and publishing are becoming increasingly close. This dialogue activity is in line with the development demands of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation between both sides, conforms to the trend of building a community of shared future, and opens up new space for cultural exchange and economic and trade cooperation between China and Arab countries. The two sides will take this dialogue activity as an opportunity, under the framework of China Arab comprehensive strategic partnership, to promote the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" initiative and the "Vision 2030" docking, establish a closer exchange and cooperation mechanism, strengthen the collaborative innovation of printing technology, promote the precise docking of printing services, deepen printing people to people and cultural exchanges, and jointly create a new situation of China Arab cultural exchanges and industrial cooperation.
This event is hosted by the Printing and Distribution Bureau of the Central Propaganda Department, organized by Wuzhou Communication Publishing House, and co organized by the China Printing Technology Association. At the event, the Chinese side exhibited a variety of printing masterpieces that integrated environmental protection concepts, exquisite craftsmanship, and original designs, which received high praise from the attending guests. It is reported that the ongoing Riyadh International Book Fair in Saudi Arabia has set up a Chinese exhibition area, showcasing more than 1000 types of high-quality books from key domestic publishing units.
