The "Bai Sheng Printing Partnership Dialogue・Riyadh" Event was Successfully Held
On October 2 local time, the "Bi Sheng Printing Cooperation Dialogue・Riyadh" event was successfully held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, under the theme of "New Opportunities, New Cooperation, New Future." Representatives from enterprises and experts in the printing and publishing sectors of China and Arab countries engaged in in-depth discussions on industrial development, capacity cooperation, and cultural exchanges.
The attending guests acknowledged that printing, as a bond of cultural exchange, has played a significant role in fostering mutual learning among civilizations. The printing technology invented by China spread to the Arab world via the Silk Road, supporting the preservation of Arabic academic texts while also facilitating the eastward transmission of knowledge such as Arabic numerals, astronomy, calendars, and medicine, creating a vivid scenario of "two-way engagement" between Chinese and Arab civilizations.

The attending guests stated that exchanges and cooperation between China and Arab countries in the field of printing and publishing have become increasingly close. This dialogue activity aligns with both parties' development aspirations of mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, conforms to the trend of building a community with a shared future, and opens new prospects for cultural exchanges and economic cooperation between China and Arab countries. Seizing this dialogue activity as an opportunity, both sides will advance the alignment of the Belt and Road Initiative with the "2030 Vision" under the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Arab countries, establish more robust mechanisms for cooperation and exchange, enhance collaborative innovation in printing technology, promote precise matching of printing services, deepen cultural exchanges in the printing sector, and jointly create a new landscape for cultural exchanges and industrial collaboration between China and Arab countries.

This event is hosted by the Printing and Distribution Bureau of the Central Propaganda Department, organized by Wuzhou Communication Publishing House, and co organized by the China Printing Technology Association. At the event, the Chinese side exhibited a variety of printing masterpieces that integrated environmental protection concepts, exquisite craftsmanship, and original designs, which received high praise from the attending guests. It is reported that the ongoing Riyadh International Book Fair in Saudi Arabia has set up a Chinese exhibition area, showcasing more than 1000 types of high-quality books from key domestic publishing units.
