The Launch Meeting for the Digitalization and Integration of the Yangtze River Delta Printing Industry Cluster Was Successfully Held
In order to better implement the spirit of the 5th China Printing Industry Innovation and Development Conference, carry out the requirements of the National Press and Publication Administration's "Three-Year Action Plan for the Digitalization of the Printing Industry (2025–2027)," and promote the in-depth development of relevant work in Shanghai, the Yangtze River Delta Printing Industry Digital Integration Industrial Cluster Promotion Launch Meeting and the 2025 Shanghai Printing Industry Innovation and Development Conference were held at the Party School of Qingpu District, Shanghai, on November 15. The conference was hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and organized by the Shanghai Printing Industry Association. Nearly 300 participants attended, including leaders of relevant supervisory departments, representatives of printing enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region, and heads of printing associations. The launch meeting was presided over by Zeng Yuan, Director of the Printing and Distribution Department of the Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee.

At the beginning of the meeting, Chen Jianguo, Member of the Standing Committee of the Qingpu District Committee of Shanghai and Director of the Publicity Department, gave a speech. He introduced the development positioning, location, and industrial advantages of Qingpu District, as well as the current development status of the local printing industry. He provided clear requirements for the development direction of printing enterprises in the district and looked forward to the broad prospects for the digital integration of the printing industry cluster in the Yangtze River Delta.

Zeng Yuan, Director of the Printing and Distribution Office of the Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, delivered a special report titled "Digital Integration of the Printing Industry in the Yangtze River Delta: Task Positioning and Implementation Pathways." The report analyzed the task positioning of the industrial cluster from three dimensions: basic resource construction, operational processes, and advanced levels, and distilled and summarized five major implementation pathways.

He introduced two main aspects: promoting the comprehensive improvement of publishing quality inspection capabilities through digitalization and the digital talent training system, and elaborated on the key measures being implemented.

The first batch of Yangtze River Delta printing industry digital integration cluster projects officially launched
Shen Jianyi, President of the Shanghai Printing Industry Association; Ma Xuquan, Vice President of the Jiangsu Printing Industry Association; Ji Jun, Secretary General of the Zhejiang Printing Industry Association; and Guo Zhixue, Vice Chairman of the Anhui Publishing Association and Director of the Printing Work Committee, jointly initiated and released the "Proposal on Jointly Promoting the Construction of Digital Integration Industry Clusters in the Yangtze River Delta Printing Industry."
During the conference, the first batch of projects for the Yangtze River Delta printing industry digital integration cluster was also announced via video: New Productive Forces Development Base for Digital Printing, Digital Integration Technology Center, Digital Basic Courses and Training Base, Integrated Printing Quality Management Platform, and Open Knowledge Base for the Printing and Packaging Industry.

Subsequently, Lu Zhou, Director and Secondary Inspector of the Printing and Reproduction Division of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee; Chen Jianguo, Member of the Standing Committee of Qingpu District Party Committee and Director of the Publicity Department; Zeng Yuan, Director of the Printing and Distribution Division of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee Publicity Department; Cao Yang, Director of the Printing and Distribution Division of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee Publicity Department; and Zhu Shaoping, Director of the Publication Market Management Division of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee Publicity Department, jointly went on stage to press the launch button, officially inaugurating the Yangtze River Delta Printing Industry Digital Integration Industrial Cluster!

Analyze successful transformation paths and share enterprise practice achievements
At the kick-off meeting, Qi Yuansheng, Dean of the School of Printing and Packaging Engineering at Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, gave a special report titled 'Digital Transformation and Intelligent Development of China's Printing Industry.' He focused on explaining the overall plan and implementation methods for digital and intelligent transformation, key stages and core technologies, and proposed five suggestions for promoting and coordinating the industrial cluster in the Yangtze River Delta.
