In June, Hanchuan Economic and Technological Development Zone achieved a new breakthrough in industrial upgrading - the first phase of the food grade paper packaging deep processing project of Hubei Zhuofeng Packaging Industry Co., Ltd. was completed and officially put into operation.
As a key emerging enterprise introduced by the Economic Development Zone, Zhuofeng Packaging has a total investment of 250 million yuan, covers an area of 80 acres, and is expected to have an annual output value of 300 million yuan and an annual tax revenue of 10 million yuan after reaching production. It will provide over 300 job opportunities for the local area and inject strong impetus into the regional economy.
Zhuofeng Packaging is driven by the dual wheels of "innovation+quality" to build core competitiveness in segmented fields. Its predecessor Wuhan Zhuofeng Packaging has obtained multiple certifications such as national high-tech enterprise, with an annual production capacity of 2 billion cup lids, ranking among the top three in the domestic industry. With the development concept of "diversified materials, diversified processes, and intelligent equipment", it has set an industry benchmark in the field of Western fast food cup lids such as coffee and milk tea, and has been praised as the "King of Lids".
It is worth noting that the company has proactively laid out the green packaging track, launching environmentally friendly products such as 100% biodegradable PLA cup lids and corrugated lunch boxes. More than 70% of the products are exported to 60 countries around the world, and has established cooperation with more than 700 well-known domestic and foreign enterprises such as KFC and H ä agen Dazs.
