On October 23, 2018, the "2018 First Papermaking National Standards Training Conference" jointly organized by the National Paper Industry Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as "Papering Standards Committee") and the National Paper Quality Supervision and Inspection Center was held in Beijing as scheduled. More than 60 representatives from nearly 50 household paper, household paper products manufacturers and quality inspection agencies participated in the training. The training session was presided over by Zhang Qingwen, deputy director of the National Paper Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. Liu Junjie, deputy general manager of China Pulp and Paper Research Institute Co., Ltd. delivered an opening speech.

Live demonstration and operation
The training course is combined with on-site operation and theoretical explanation to help students improve their mastery and application of standards. Relevant professional technicians explained the working principle, use method and troubleshooting of the sanitary napkin absorption speed meter and the adhesive stripping strength meter, and instructed the students to conduct on-site operation demonstration. In addition, the meeting also arranged for the students to visit the National Paper Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and the National Engineering Laboratory for Pulp and Paper.
According to the schedule of the meeting, on October 24th, GB/T20810-2018 "Toilet paper (including sanitary base paper)" and GB/T27741-2011 "paper and paperboard migratory fluorescent whitening agent" will continue to be interpreted.
