On the afternoon of June 10th, the Printing Quality Summit Forum, hosted by the Printing and Distribution Bureau of the Central Propaganda Department, organized by the Product Quality Supervision and Testing Center of the Central Propaganda Department and the Liaoning Provincial Press and Publication Bureau, and co organized by the Publication Printing and Quality Work Branch of the China Printing Technology Association, the Publication Printing Branch of the China Printing and Equipment Industry Association, and China Business United Printing (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., was held in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. The forum focuses on "moving towards' new 'and achieving long-term goals with' quality '", focusing on ensuring and improving printing quality, exchanging ideas and measures to solve printing quality problems, promote industrial transformation and upgrading, and achieve high-quality development.

Cai Shugui, Deputy Director of the Printing and Distribution Bureau of the Central Propaganda Department, emphasized that the printing industry should drive quality change through technological innovation, lead and force quality improvement through standard construction, consolidate the quality assurance system through effective supervision, better build quality and safety barriers, and better meet people's aspirations for a better life. Yuan Yaping, Director of the Quality Supervision and Testing Center for Publishing Products of the Central Propaganda Department, pointed out that the printing quality inspection work has always been committed to serving and ensuring the high-quality development of the printing industry, demonstrating political responsibility in serving the overall work of the Party and the country, consolidating the work foundation in serving the development of the industry, and consolidating the work force in promoting the coordinated construction of national publishing quality inspection. Jiao Wanwei, Deputy Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Press and Publication Bureau (Copyright Bureau), stated that Liaoning should implement the responsibility system for ideological work, closely focus on the integration of digital intelligence and green printing industry, empower the creation of cultural masterpieces with practical actions, and promote the continuous improvement of printing quality throughout the province.

Hong Yonggang, Chief Editor of CITIC Publishing Group Co., Ltd., Liu Qingsong, Deputy Chief Editor of Liaoning Publishing Group, President and Chief Editor of Liaohai Publishing House, Wang Yi, Chairman of Zhejiang Printing Group Co., Ltd., Li Yanqiu, President of Beijing Shengtong Printing Co., Ltd., and Yang Sixia, General Manager of Dalian Jianfeng Printing Industry Co., Ltd., discussed from the perspective of how publishing units and printing enterprises can improve product quality. They unanimously agreed that: firstly, we need to strengthen the construction of management systems, from controlling the quality of raw and auxiliary materials to controlling the production process, and then to warehousing and transportation, and establish a sound quality management system; Secondly, we need to establish a sound quality assurance system, especially in completing major printing assurance tasks with high quality; The third is to effectively connect the pre press design process with the production process, producing both exquisite and high-quality printed products, and improving the quality of people's lives.

Firstly, regarding the quality of digital printing: Zhou Zhendong, Deputy General Manager of Beijing Fangzheng Yinjie Digital Technology Co., Ltd., introduced the current status of domestic digital printing equipment, breakthroughs in core key technologies of inkjet digital printing, as well as the biggest shortcomings and improvement directions of digital printing in terms of printed product quality. Yu Lixuan, General Manager of the Printing Center of Chemical Industry Press, shared his experience on the quality differences between digital printing and traditional printing, as well as how publishing units can promote the sustainable development of digital printing. Starting from production practice, Wang Zhiqiang, Deputy General Manager of Beijing Jianhong Printing Co., Ltd., answered the key areas and improvement methods for digital printing in terms of paper adaptability such as drying waves, and compared them with DeepSeek's answers on site.
Secondly, regarding the construction of printing standards: Li Yonglin, Secretary General of the National Printing Standardization Technical Committee, introduced the leading role of standardization construction in promoting the digital transformation and green development of the printing industry from the perspective of how to respond to the standardization needs of the industry and ensure the implementation and application effects of standards. Wang Xudong, Technical Director of Beijing Hualian Printing Co., Ltd., shared the practical experience and key focus areas of printing enterprises in implementing standards. Weng Yunsong, the head of the Shanghai Printing Quality Supervision and Inspection Station, pointed out that there are still shortcomings in the quality inspection standards of published products in three dimensions: printing quality, environmental quality, and forward-looking research. He suggested establishing a key laboratory for publication printing quality to conduct cutting-edge research on newly emerging processes, materials, and technological means.
Thirdly, regarding the application of AI in the printing quality assurance system: Guo Xinxin, General Manager of the Engineering Technology Department of Heshan Yatushi Printing Co., Ltd., shared practical application experience of AI in layout optimization, automatic adaptation of optimal materials, stability of artificial intelligence equipment, and predictive maintenance. Professor Cao Peng from Beijing Institute of Printing and Technology has outlined the innovative applications of AI technology in the printing field, emphasizing the importance of data security in digital transformation.
The forum also released the "Solution to Quality Issues of Cross page Printing", which systematically proposed solutions to the technical problems of cross page printing that have plagued the industry for many years, and effectively promoted the high-quality development of the printing industry through quality improvement.
