Shengda Printing Adds 10 More Durst Machines, Nearly 100 Million Yuan Invested to Build a Digital Future

On December 5, 2025, the Grand Printing × Durst × Haoxi Technology Deep Experience Open Day successfully kicked off in Yongcheng. More than 160 industry peers and media representatives from home and abroad gathered at the headquarters of Henan Grand Intelligent Printing Group Co., Ltd. to witness the milestone moment of deepened cooperation between Grand Printing and Durst China. Following the introduction of five Durst machines at the 2024 Drupa International Printing Exhibition, Grand Printing has once again signed for ten additional units, marking the upgrade of their collaboration from technical procurement to ecosystem co-construction.

Solid Strength: The "Hexagon Warrior" Verified by Real Production Data

At the beginning of the event, guests toured Grand Printing's smart digital production lines and were deeply impressed by its large-scale dedicated production capabilities and digital transformation achievements.

Inside the production workshop, three Durst Tau 510 RSCi digital label printers became the focal point. It is reported that the fourth machine will be in place by mid-month. During the on-site demonstration, this label printing "Hexagon Warrior" showcased its formidable capabilities: native resolution up to 1200×1200 dpi with print quality comparable to offset printing; a maximum speed of 100 meters per minute, covering more than 95% of Pantone colors, and flawlessly reproducing both complex patterns and delicate color gradients.

More importantly, Mr. Yan Jianhai, General Manager of Haoxi Technology, revealed actual production data at the subsequent roundtable forum, further confirming Durst's exceptional cost-performance ratio and real value: a Durst Tau RSCi at Shengda Printing had an effective production time of 98.5% over the course of a year, meaning only about five and a half days were spent on equipment maintenance and servicing, fully demonstrating Durst's outstanding stability; currently, the equipment's actual printing time accounts for only 37.9%, indicating there is still significant potential to be further tapped; yet, even within this less than 40% of actual printing time, a single machine produces an average of 20,550 square meters per day and a total of 7.2 million square meters annually, handling over 1,500 orders daily. This shows that Durst equipment's powerful production capabilities can fully support Shengda's vast business demands; and the average ink consumption per machine is 2.7 ml per square meter, reflecting a better cost-effectiveness ratio.

Through this event, the guests personally felt how much label printing can achieve when the top equipment is combined with the top operational capabilities - shorter delivery cycles, lower material loss and higher customer stickiness, and also understand the logic behind Shanda's large-scale investments, which is the strategy of "value" rather than "price".

Strong cooperation: deep resonance from demand to value

Professor Xu Wencai, chairman of the Packaging, Printing and Labeling Professional Committee of the China Packaging Federation, pointed out that the penetration rate of digital printing is expected to exceed 35% in 2030, and the label field has great potential. The "Enterprise Needs, Global Technology, Local Services" model of Shanda Printing, Durst and Haoxi provides a replicable digital transformation example for the industry.

Mr. Cui Wenfeng, founder and chairman of Shanda Printing, extended a warm welcome to the guests. He emphasized that the core of Shanda Printing choosing to join forces with Durst is not simply to add hardware or show off technology, but to seek like-minded partners, build in-depth cooperation alliances, and jointly explore the road of digital and intelligent transformation. There is no ready-made standard answer on this road, let alone an isolated winner, Shanda Printing, as a real and vivid exploration sample, will always uphold an open and inclusive attitude, work hand in hand with industry colleagues, go more steadily and further.

Mr. Zhong Hanjie, CEO of Durst China, said: "The speed of transformation of China's printing industry is amazing. Durst is not only a technology leader, but also committed to coexisting with Chinese enterprises, bringing not only equipment, but also partnerships that drive industry change.

The awarding session and signing ceremony pushed the event day to a climax. Based on long-term friendly cooperation and common values, Durst awarded Shanda Printing the title of "Global Strategic Partner", which marks a new level of cooperation between the two parties.

Undoubtedly, the strategic cooperation between Shanda Printing and Durst is not only the introduction of equipment, but also the deep integration of technology, concepts and services, as well as the keen insight and positive response to the development trend of the industry. In recent years, in the wave of digital development, Shanda Printing has taken the initiative to plan the leap from the "combined edition era" to the "special edition era", and promoted the strategic implementation of "product segmentation, special machine printing, and special line production" with digital intelligence transformation.

Adding ten more machines! Nearly 100 million yuan invested to embrace a digital future

Following last year's Drupa International Printing Exhibition, where Shengda Printing invested 50 million yuan to introduce five Durst Tau 510 RSCi digital label printers, Shengda Printing and Durst signed another agreement during this open day, adding 10 new Durst machines with an investment approaching 100 million yuan. Behind this large-scale investment and frequent actions is not only Shengda Printing's high recognition of the technology and services provided by Durst and Haoxi Company but also reflects its firm belief in the digital future and long-term strategic planning.

At the same time, Durst also received orders from Thailand's WELCOCME MEDIA TOGETHER during the recently concluded Labelexpo Asia, demonstrating its continuous expansion in the Asian market.
