Spring tides surge, and wisdom opens a new journey. On the afternoon of April 29, on the eve of the May Fourth Youth Day, the themed event of Digital Printing Thinking & Sharing Forum, 'Chasing the Light, Growing Towards the Sun-The Mission and Responsibility of Youth in the AI Era,' hosted by the Shanghai Digital Printing Industry Association and co-organized by Pinghu Yinghou Machinery Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Fengde Park, Jiading District, Shanghai. As a core branded project meticulously developed by the Shanghai Digital Printing Industry Association, the Digital Printing Thinking & Sharing Forum focuses on industry frontiers and gathers youth power. With a professional and pragmatic communication atmosphere and content closely aligned with the times, it aims to provide a platform for young entrepreneurs, technical and management backbones, second-generation printing professionals, and young scholars from related universities to exchange ideas, share wisdom, connect resources, and advance together.

At the beginning of the event, Shen Jun, President of the Shanghai Digital Printing Industry Association, delivered a speech. On behalf of the association, he warmly welcomed all the guests and emphasized the significant importance of holding this forum. He pointed out that the tides of the era are surging forward, the industry is evolving rapidly, and a large number of young talents with ideals, knowledge, and entrepreneurial spirit are rising swiftly. The second generation of successors and young entrepreneurs are becoming a new trend in the industry. At a time when AI technology is fully emerging and profoundly reshaping various industries, the mission of digital and intelligent transformation of the printing industry historically falls on the shoulders of the younger generation. He hopes that the younger generation will be brave in embracing new AI technologies, daring to break boundaries, unite efforts, shoulder the responsibility of innovation, and jointly build the future of the industry.

Li Ang, General Manager of Pinghu Yinghou Machinery Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote presentation titled "Frontier Insights on AI and Reflections on the Implementation of Intelligent Factories." He based his talk on insights and practical experiences gained from attending two major global technology exhibitions, CES 2026 and GTC 2026. He systematically elaborated on AI implementation in practice, the deep integration of AI with factories, and the evolution of AI from single-point functions to industrial production systems, emphasizing that a high-quality data foundation is a prerequisite for AI applications. Additionally, he shared real-world implementation cases of printing companies such as Yatushi using the Linjue AI system developed by Pinghu Yinghou.

Shen Lin, Director of YinZhi Internet (Hong Kong) Information Technology Co., Ltd., shared on the theme "Application of AI in the Printing Industry: From Cloud 'Crayfish' to Local 'Hands and Feet'." She mentioned that YinZhi Internet has now built a complete enterprise software and digital system, including printing ERP, APS, MES, equipment data acquisition system, digital workshops, and intelligent factory solutions. At the same time, she introduced the development process of the XiaoZhi AI digital management platform. Today, XiaoZhi AI has become a "digital employee" for input, execution, and output in the printing industry, enabling AI to 'speak, act, and make decisions' within the printing sector. In the future, YinZhi Internet will fully resolve data security and computing cost issues through localized deployment, promoting the true implementation of AI.

Yang Yunfei, General Manager of Shanghai Gaobang Printing Materials Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote titled 'From AI CRM to Industrial Brain: Intelligent Exploration of Printing Materials Enterprises in the AI Era.' Combining the company's digitalization practices, he pointed out that printing materials enterprises should approach AI implementation by addressing real business pain points. He focused on introducing the AI CRM intelligent sales workstation, the concept of building five major position knowledge bases, and the application of IoT and time-series large models in process manufacturing, which can achieve production anomaly warnings, quality prediction, and process optimization. He emphasized that the key to AI implementation in enterprises lies in clear problems, high-quality data, standardized processes, and dedicated maintenance, ultimately transforming experience into data, models, workflows, and organizational capabilities to empower efficient enterprise operations.

He shared the practical application of the standard work-time AI in his own company, focusing on its input data such as equipment reporting and production work orders, output results, overall R&D progress, and application directions. He also explained the three core advantages of implementing standard work-time AI in printing companies. In addition, he shared an AI attendance project, introducing the tools used, input data, output results, and a comparison with traditional manual attendance processes, demonstrating how AI can effectively support the daily operations of printing factories.

Zeng Xiaoling, Product Director of Xinhua Three Industrial Internet Co., Ltd., with the theme "Intelligent Agents, the New Youth of Industrial Digitalization," systematically explained the mental models and action frameworks of intelligent agents, human-machine collaborative practice paths, and the transformation dilemmas faced by the printing and packaging industry under the dual pressures of high customization and fast delivery. She also highlighted the core application value of AI across the entire pre-printing, printing, and post-printing process. She emphasized that, in the face of pain points such as unstable industry efficiency and quality, intelligent agents are the key idea to breaking the deadlock. The youth of the new era should inherit the spirit of May Fourth, break shackles, innovate, and reconstruct the development path of the AI era with new thinking.

She mentioned that the primary task for the printing industry to embrace AI is to make good use of industry-specific private data, and she elaborated on the construction process and application of the Keyin AI platform built by Shanghai Chuxun. She emphasized that when AI deeply integrates with professional knowledge in the printing industry, it is no longer a 'formal tool,' but a powerful assistant that can empower business. The theme of the roundtable meeting focused on 'Experience and Transformation: Opportunities and Challenges of AI from the Perspective of Senior Managers,' hosted by Zhou Jianping, Director of the Expert Committee of the Shanghai Digital Printing Industry Association. The second roundtable discussion focused on the theme 'Exploration and Innovation: AI Thinking and Responsibility of Young Talents,' hosted by Zhou Jianping, Director of the Expert Committee of Shanghai Digital Printing Industry Association. Participants included Liu Nian, General Manager of Shanghai Qingfeng Digital Technology Co., Ltd.; Yu Hui, Solution Architect of China HP Ltd.; Luo Qianyi, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Siwei Cultural Media Co., Ltd.; and Yu Jun, General Manager of Shanghai Xiaolin Printing Co., Ltd. The guests had in-depth discussions on the application of AI in the digital printing field, focusing on areas such as AI empowering cultural and creative development and building personal IP. They suggested that AI can be deeply integrated into the entire creative and production process, becoming a 'partner' in enterprise innovation and development, effectively enhancing product added value and market competitiveness. Young entrepreneurs unanimously agreed that the new generation in the industry should actively make use of AI and embrace AI, using technological innovation to activate new industrial momentum and demonstrate the mission and responsibility of young printers in the new era.

Zhou Jianping, Director of the Expert Committee of Shanghai Digital Printing Industry Association, shared expert insights on the future trends of AI and industry assessment based on the book "The Book of Predictions: The World 1000 Days Later." He focused on interpreting the book's predictions on two main directions: industry and trends, work and organizations, pointing out that AI will accelerate the development of industrial clusters, comprehensively reshape the financial world, and form a new financial pattern. He also systematically explained the four core trends brought by the AI era: changes in work modes, transformations in positions and organizations, the shift in types of talent, and the transfer of innovation value.
