The Fogra Printing Institute of Germany is scheduled to hold a multi-color comparison test within the scope of the 9th Fogra Color Management Forum. The Fogra Multicolor Forum was held at the Institute's conference hall from 15:00 on October 4, 2018. Multicolor solution providers show the current possibilities in the field of multicolor printing (ECG, extended color gamut).
A color management forum was held at the new Fogra building in Munich.
It is planned to test 5 different projects based on the printing test. Which involves:
▪ ECG (Extended Color Gamut) feature (Create Profile)
▪ ECG (Extended Color Gamut) Production Trial - Proofing (on 7-color offset)
▪ Spectral prediction (overprinting and spot color tone values based on color reduction)
▪ Adobe red, green and blue image separation
▪ Spot color separation.
This test result is introduced by the manufacturer within the scope of the forum. The winners were not selected for this purpose, but the followers had the opportunity to obtain information on the current state of the art at the time of the report, compare the test results, and then interact with each other at the Bavarian party.
Although the presentation is in English and will be broadcasted and recorded live on the Internet, it will then be available in the Fogra Media Library. Multicolor forums are free to participate.
