On October 30, 2025, Lin Meihui and Chen Kunhui, representatives of the Organizing Committee of the China (Xiamen) Food and Medicine Homology Industry Innovation Expo and Xiamen International Trade Exhibition Operations Co., Ltd., visited the Zhangzhou Printing and Packaging Association. Both sides held discussions and exchanges regarding industrial chain collaboration for the Xiamen Expo in May 2026.

The Expo focuses on the food and medicine homology industry, with its exhibits having clear and prominent requirements for packaging safety, environmental protection, and design. Printing and packaging enterprises in Zhangzhou have deep roots in the local market, with advantages in location, research and development, and production, enabling them to precisely meet the printing and packaging needs of the Expo and downstream industries. Through friendly discussions, both parties initially reached a consensus on cooperation and explored the feasibility of organizing high-quality local Zhangzhou printing and packaging enterprises to participate in the Expo or integrate the participation with association activities. Both sides plan to gradually promote full-chain communication and coordination from "packaging R&D – industry application – market conversion" through product displays at the Expo, one-on-one meetings, and other forms, with specific cooperation subject to further in-depth discussions.
