A cardboard box factory in Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai has been completed and started production, filling the gap in the local packaging industry.
Recently, at the Hexi Carton Packaging Factory of Qinghai Golmud Kenwang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., batches of cartons printed with the words "Qaidam Goji Berry" were produced. "The packaging factory was completed and put into operation at the end of August this year, achieving construction, production, and results within the same year," explained Gan Jixian, the person in charge of the packaging factory.
Hexi Carton Packaging Factory has a total investment of 5.5 million yuan and a daily output of up to 28,000 cartons. Gan Jixian said, "Corrugated cartons are very sturdy, ideal for long-distance transport of bulk goods. The wavy inner layers help cushion and resist pressure, preventing goji berries from being crushed or damaged."
Previously, goji berry cartons in Haixi Prefecture were sourced from Ningxia. They were inconsistent in style and lacked the "Qaidam Goji" brand logo, which affected the promotion of Haixi Prefecture's "Magical Qaidam" regional public brand. "The whole prefecture needs about 2.6 million goji berry cartons each year. The packaging factory, running at full capacity for four months, can produce 3 million cartons," Gan Jixian said.
The construction and operation of the Hexi carton packaging factory has filled the gap of not having a carton processing plant in Haixi Prefecture and completed the full industry chain of the goji berry industry from planting, processing, and packaging to sales.

Customized cartons with a unified logo allow Chaidamu goji berries to continuously showcase their brand image during logistics and sales, greatly boosting the product's market competitiveness.
