On April 27 local time, the Printing and Distribution Bureau of the Publicity Department of the CPC held the 'Bi Sheng Printing Cooperation Dialogue · Bogotá' event in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia.

Chinese Ambassador to Colombia Zhu Jingyang and Colombian Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry and Tourism Sofía Cañón attended the event and delivered speeches.

The event was hosted by the Printing and Distribution Bureau of the Publicity Department of the CPC, organized by Wuzhou Communication Publishing House, and co-organized by the China Printing Technology Association and the Quality Supervision and Testing Center of Publications under the Publicity Department of the CPC. With the theme 'Along the Silk Road, Smart Printing for the Future,' the event aims to promote industry experience sharing, resource complementarity, and project cooperation, providing a high-level open and mutually beneficial exchange and cooperation platform for the printing industry in China and Latin America.

Representatives from industry associations, quality inspection agencies, publishers, printing companies, and equipment suppliers from countries including China, Colombia, and Mexico engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as industry policies, digital and intelligent upgrades, quality management, and market cooperation through on-site speeches and video connections, sharing development experiences and cooperation ideas.

Yuan Yaping, Director of the Publishing Product Quality Supervision and Testing Center of the Publicity Department of China and Vice Chairman of the China Printing Technology Association, introduced China's foreign policies in the printing industry, development achievements, and quality construction results, outlining the willingness and prospects for cooperation between China and Latin American countries.

Representatives of the Colombia-China Investment and Trade Chamber presented cooperation opportunities between Chinese and Colombian enterprises, while representatives of the Latin American Printing Industry Federation and the Colombian Printing Industry Association interpreted the structure and cooperation potential of the printing industries in Latin America and Colombia.

Representatives of the National University of Colombia Press introduced the current situation and development trends of book printing in the country.

Chinese companies including Beijing Shengtong, Shenzhen Yutong, and Hangzhou Korey shared their practical achievements in intelligent manufacturing, multinational layout, and technological innovation.

At the event, the China Printing Technology Association and the Latin American Printing Industry Federation signed the "China-Latin America Printing Industry Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement," marking that both parties will launch institutionalized and regular cooperation through concrete measures.

At the event site, a boutique printing display area was set up to showcase recently printed high-quality books, cultural and creative products, and intelligent packaging products from China, introduce China's advanced printing quality inspection technologies, and demonstrate the comprehensive strength and innovation level of China's printing industry, which was highly praised by all participants of the event.

The exhibition of China's printed premium products has attracted attention and praise from the attending representatives.

The guests at the meeting unanimously agreed that the high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative between China and Latin America has continuously made new progress and achieved new results, opening up broad space for cooperation in the printing field.
