What is the right printing resolution?

print

Resolution, which refers to the number of pixels per inch contained on a bitmap image, is measured in DPI (pixels per inch).

Resolution determines how detailed a bitmap image is, and in general, the higher the resolution of an image, the more pixels it contains, the sharper the image, and the better the quality of the print.
The resolution of traditional printed matter design is generally 2 times the number of printing lines (the next knowledge point introduction), and the specific reference settings are as follows:

· Four-color printing, including regular magazines, resolution settings 250-300DPI;

· Album printing, resolution setting 350-400DPI;

· Newspaper printing, resolution setting 150-200DPI;

· Inkjet printing, resolution setting 25-72DPI;

· Indoor photo printing, resolution setting 72 DPI;

· Outdoor advertising printing, resolution setting 25DPI.
