The pre-printing work generally refers to photography, design, production, typesetting, filming, etc.; printing mid-term work, printing finished products through the printing press. The film (film) cannot be used directly for printing. The color plate used for printing is generally called a PS plate and is an aluminum metal plate with a film coated on one side. The function of the film is to fix the film on the color plate during exposure. The specific operation is as follows: the film is covered on the side of the color plate covered with a film, exposed under a violet light, where the film is completely transparent, the color plate is completely irradiated with a violet light, the film is completely decomposed, and the film is completely decomposed; Where the image or text is opaque or incompletely transparent, the film on the color plate will not decompose or completely decompose, and the decomposed film will be washed away so that the image on the film is completely transferred to the color plate. When printing, the place where the film is on the color plate will absorb the ink. With the different density of the film, the amount of absorbed ink is not the same, so there is a difference in the depth of color. In the printing press, the color of the four color plates C, M, Y, and K is used, and various colors come out. The late printing work generally refers to the post-processing of printed materials including cutting, laminating, die-cutting, binding, and mounting, and is mostly used for publicity and packaging.
