At present, the 0201 corrugated carton is often used as a courier package for beauty products. However, the use of a large number of auxiliary packaging materials has led to an increase in storage and transportation costs, an increase in packaging waste, and a complicated recycling process that does not meet the requirements of green packaging. Under the background of China's vigorous promotion of low-carbon environmental protection and sustainable development, we should improve the existing express packaging of beauty products with the idea of coordinated economic and ecological development.
In recent years, the sales of skin care products have been among the best in all kinds of beauty products. In this paper, the author will design a combination of commercially available skin care products, and use the collective packaging mode to elaborate the design concept and design scheme of the beauty express packaging of beauty products.
design concept
The packaging design concept is scientific, reasonable, safe and reliable, easy to store and transport, and low cost. It is embodied in the following four aspects.
1. Simple design
In the "less is more" design language to interpret the beauty and design concept of beauty products express packaging, so that the packaging has the required functions to meet the actual needs.
2. Standardized design
The main principle of standardized design is to determine the corresponding standard size or range according to the characteristics of the product, to meet the packaging needs of similar products, and to have certain versatility.
3. Material simplification design
Designed with the same materials that are degradable and easy to recycle. A single material not only highlights the uniform aesthetics of the design, but also simplifies the classification and reuse of packaging waste during the recycling process. This design uses recycled B-type single corrugated cardboard (thickness is about 3mm).
4. Detachable design
The detachable design eliminates other unnecessary auxiliary packaging materials and forming and fixing methods while rationalizing the packaging structure. The package is easy to disassemble or flatten at the same time as the function is realized, which is convenient for transportation and sorting after disposal.
Design
According to the sampling statistics of an e-commerce website, the inner packaging dimensions of the skin care product combination are shown in Table 1. Based on this, the author designed two skin care product packaging.
1. Padded box
The design can be used for the collection and packaging of bottled and tubed beauty products, and its structure is shown in Figure 1.
The box is designed as a one-piece molded structure that can be placed flat when not in use. Two multi-diameter openings are suitable for accommodating and fixing bottled water of different diameters and milk skin care products. The X-cut line is designed to hold tube-mounted cleansing products or similar containers from impact and crush. The forming effect of the padded packaging box is shown in Figure 2. During molding, the cardboard with the apertures and the X-cut lines is folded into the box along the indentation line to form a stepped cushioning spacer. The plug-in sealing structure can ensure the sealing strength, and the sealing label can be used to realize the anti-theft function.
2. Spring type packaging box
The design scheme is suitable for the collection and packaging of bottled water and milk skin care products. The structure is as shown in Fig. 3. A special spring-type compressible structure is designed on the upper and lower ends of the box body, so that the height of the size inside the package can be Adjusted to the same height as the contents in the range of 138 to 180 mm to achieve the desired container and fixing effect. The design is not only simple and beautiful, but also does not affect the box strength of the package, improves the space utilization inside the package, facilitates storage and transportation, and reduces logistics costs.
The forming effect of the spring type packaging box is shown in Fig. 4. The envelope designed with the same material can be flexibly adjusted according to the height of the box body. The serrated lock tongue at one end of the envelope can be directly inserted into the box body and fixedly connected with the box body to improve the sealing strength. The cushioning liner used in the package can be made from die-cutting materials and make full use of the material.
Both the box and the envelope are detachable and can be flattened and recycled after use. The envelope is designed with an easily recognizable brand logo, which is simple and generous in design and conforms to the principles of environmental protection, low carbon and economy.
In the future, the material selection, structural design, decoration design and other aspects of express packaging will be carried out around green environmental protection. Whether it is beauty products or other commodities, packaging and printing enterprises are striving to make their express packaging achieve balanced development of economic and ecological benefits. . The above two design solutions are all around the green packaging design principles. Of course, there are still some shortcomings. The author here only wants to provide some design ideas for everyone, hoping to bring inspiration to all colleagues.
