What is the iron sheet printing production process

The increase of printing varieties has led to the continuous innovation of printing equipment, printing technology and printing process, and the production skills that meet the personalized printing needs of users are emerging in an endless stream. As far as printing materials are concerned, there are many categories, and iron sheet printing is one of them. What is tin printing? What are the precautions for iron sheet printing production? Today, we will talk about what is the iron sheet printing production process. Iron sheet printing is printing on metal plates, so it is also called printing, metal printing. Generally, graphics and texts are printed on the surface of tinned iron or aluminum plates. Tin printing products are mainly used in the manufacture of food packaging boxes, stationery boxes, children's toys and indoor decoration supplies. Iron sheet printing, the use of hard metal substrate, easy to wear the plate, so the use of lithography, through the rubber cylinder transfer of graphics, therefore, the structure of the printing machine and the ordinary printing paper of the lithographic press is basically the same, however, the metal plate can not be bent like the paper and attached to the embossing cylinder, can only pass horizontally between the rubber cylinder and the embossing cylinder. In addition, the offset press for iron sheet printing must be equipped with a drying system. The process of iron sheet printing is as follows: iron sheet treatment→ printing → drying 1. Iron sheet treatment. Before printing, use dilute alkali solution or alcohol to wipe the dust and oil on the surface of the metal plate. 2. Printing. The surface of the metal plate is smooth and non-absorbent, so the ink printed by the iron sheet must have good adhesion, and also have good heat resistance, light resistance, solvent resistance, cooking resistance and mechanical impact resistance. On metal plates, it is generally necessary to print many times, and the first time the bottom varnish is printed to protect the metal from rust. The second time is to print the bottom layer with white ink, covering the color of the metal, and then print the graphics and texts in sequence according to the color order. Finally, the varnish is printed to protect the printed graphics. 3. Drying The metal surface is not absorbent, so every time it is printed, the ink needs to be dried. Drying methods can be steam, infrared, electric heating, etc. Prints enter from one end of the drying lane and are dried when the other end comes out. The humidity of the drying tunnel varies depending on the printing ink, generally between 150 and 200 °C. The temperature of the varnish is 200°C, and the drying temperature of the varnish is about 150°C. If the temperature is too low, the drying is not complete, the temperature is too high, the ink will change color and the mechanical properties will decrease. Through the above description, I believe you should have understood what is the iron printing production process.
