In the offset printing process, due to improper adjustment of the paper feeding part or negligence in operation, it is easy to have a thick small paper piece, a hard fiber mass in the paper, and a plurality of sheets of paper being stuffed into the drum, so that the roller blanket is partially concave and concave. Sag, in the low concave part due to insufficient printing pressure, so the graphic cannot be completely transferred, and it can be remedied in the following way.
(1) Use the backing pad method of the blanket. In order to prevent the low-concave parts from being seen after the blanket is removed, the corresponding size mark should be drawn with a ballpoint pen on the front of the blanket. After removing the blanket, find the mark of the same size according to the mark just drawn, and the mark drawn must be accurate. After that, use the paper with the appropriate degree of depression of the blanket to be torn or cut into the same shape as the mark. If the thickness of one piece of paper is not enough, you can use two or three sheets of paste and glue to apply the glue. In the low recess on the back of the blanket, a blanket can be placed after the glue is dry.
(2) Use a blanket to clean the reducing agent for remediation, and the effect is also ideal. It is convenient, quick and practical. Use a brush to draw a blanket to clean the reducing agent and rub it on the area where the blanket is not concave, so there will be an immediate effect.
After using the blanket for a while, even if it can still be used normally, let it "rest" for a while. Remove the blanket from the machine, first clean the ink and oil on it with a cleaning agent or gasoline; then wash it with a 50% alkali solution to saponify the oil that penetrates the surface of the blanket; then wash it off with water. The object is wiped dry; finally, the talcum powder is thrown and stored according to the method described above, so that the blanket can restore its original elasticity to a certain extent after a period of "rest", effectively extending its service life.
Because the blanket has the disadvantages of photoaging and heat aging, the blanket cloth to be used should be rolled outwards after purchase, wrapped in black paper, stored in a dry and ventilated place, and away from light and heat, as well as oil, For various chemicals such as acid, alkali and salt, the storage temperature is preferably around 20 °C, and the relative humidity is 70%. The new blanket has a smooth anti-oxidation film, which is scrubbed with pumice powder and gasoline to ensure good adhesion to the surface of the blanket.
The effective part of the print needs to be kept clean at all times. If it is not clean, it will affect the printing pressure. If ink or other impurities are fixed on the surface of the blanket, the printing pressure will change, which will affect the quality of the print. Non-printed parts should also be kept clean. If this part is not kept clean, as the sludge and other impurities continue to condense, and the printing pressure increases, the surface of the blanket will be destroyed, causing it to be unable to be used normally.
Keeping the surface of the blanket clean should also pay attention to the intersection of the effective part of the printing. The ink and other contaminants in this place are the most. As the pressure increases, the fatigue of the blanket increases, and the blanket in this part is most prone to cracks, so it is necessary to prevent impurities from accumulating here.
