In the printing process, the phenomenon of deformation of the imprint is common and based on past practical experience, various factors causing the deformation of the imprint during the printing process are summarized as follows for reference by the peers.


1, the plate factor


At present, the PS plate used in the printing industry is mostly based on aluminum plates, and a certain amount of zinc is added. In addition to having certain tensile properties, it also has a certain ductility. Under certain conditions, the tensile strength of the new PS plate is stronger than that of the plate. The plate printing made with the new PS plate has no obvious ductility. If a plate made of a regenerated PS plate is used, especially in the case of a large number of prints, this change can be clearly felt. As the number of prints increases, the entire plate is stretched in the middle in the direction of the fixed plate orientation, and the more the number of plates printed, the more obvious the change, the writing on the plate appears to be slender, sometimes not The backing paper is not padded on the back of the plate to maintain printing, and the plate must be discarded if necessary to ensure quality.


The main cause of this quality problem: Although the PS plate has not undergone qualitative changes after electrolysis, the surface of the PS is significantly thicker than the new PS plate, and the thickness and weight are much reduced. The thickness of the new PS plate is 0.3mm. The thickness of the PS plate after electrolysis is sometimes less than 0.15mm. The tensile strength is naturally not as strong as the new PS plate, but the ductility is stronger than the new PS plate. When the operator is loading the plate, it will pull the edge of the plate directly because it is too hard when tightened. The weight of the new PS version is 0.5kg per piece, and most of the regenerated PS version does not reach this weight, and some even lower than 0.25kg. The resulting plate has poor tensile strength, and sometimes the entire plate can be elongated. More than 5mm, its ductility is naturally stronger than the PS version. Since the offset printing machine is mostly operated at a high speed during operation, the printing plate is deformed and the imprint on the printing plate is also deformed.


2, blanket factor


The influence of the blanket on the deformation of the printed characters, the author believes that there are mainly the following factors:


Reason 1: The purchase of a blanket of unqualified quality can not reach the normal use period, and loses its proper performance, resulting in deformation of the print during printing.


Solution: Replace the quality blanket immediately.


Reason 2: The blanket is not installed, and it is loose in the middle.


Solution: Reinstall the blanket.


Reason 3: Due to the operator himself, the impurities on the surface of the blanket (such as ink) could not be cleaned in time. For a long time, the surface area of the blanket was thick and thick, and the surface was hardened and could not be cleaned. It was absorbed during the printing process. The moisture on the surface of the printing plate expands and the surface of the surface is deformed.


Solution: Clean up in time, and replace the blanket when you can't clean it.
