Dispensing ink is an important task in the color printing process. How this work is done is directly related to the printing quality of the product. Because the color is bright, the brightness is good, and the hue is the basic requirement of color printing products. To achieve this requirement, the printing ink must be accurately assembled first. Therefore, the operator must master the color knowledge and the ink adjustment process.
1. Master the changing rules of the three primary colors in order to achieve accurate ink blending
We know that any color can be blended with different proportions of the three primary colors. The hue change of the ink is to use this law. If the three primary colors are mixed in equal amounts, they can turn black (approximate). The three primary color inks are mixed in equal amounts and added with different proportions of white ink to form light gray inks of various shades.
If the three primary color inks are mixed in various proportions, they can be blended into a mixture of different colors or complex colors, but the hue is biased toward a large proportion of the primary color hue. If the two primary colors are mixed in equal amounts, they can become standard inter-color; after the two primary colors are mixed and mixed in different proportions, they can be combined into a variety of different hue, but the hue tends to a large proportion of the primary hue. In addition, in any color of ink, the color of the ink becomes brighter after adding white ink. Conversely, when a black ink is added, its hue becomes dark. The above-mentioned primary color inks are blended into various colors, which are derived from the subtractive color theory of the three primary colors.
2. Analyze the hue of the original, correct the color cast by the complementary color theory, and improve the ink adjustment effect. After receiving the printing color, firstly, the various colors in the original should be carefully evaluated and analyzed, and each of the ink hue to be adjusted should be measured. proportion. Analyzing the color draft is to grasp a basic principle that the three primary colors are the base colors for any ink color. In general, the application of the three primary colors of change law, in addition to gold and silver color, any complex color can be deployed. However, in the process of process practice, it is not enough to allocate a myriad of ink colors by only three primary colors of ink. Because, in fact, the pigments used to make inks are not very standard, and even the ink produced in each batch is inevitably subject to a certain degree of difference in color. Therefore, in the actual work, it should also use inks such as medium blue, dark blue, light blue, light blue, medium yellow, deep yellow, light yellow, golden red, orange red, deep red, light red, black, green, etc. To achieve the desired ink hue. There are many types of inks, but in any case, in addition to the three primary colors, the other colors are used to supplement the deficiencies of the three primary colors. Any complex color always changes within the scope of the three primary colors. As long as you master this principle, it is not a problem to adjust the ink. When the color analysis determines the primary and secondary inks and the ratio, the matching can be performed. However, if the adjusted hue is deviated, the complementary color theory can be used to correct its hue. For example, if a hue is green, it can be corrected by adding a small amount of red ink. On the contrary, the red taste is too heavy to add blue ink to correct.
3. Mixing of color and complex color
The so-called inter-color is a mixture of two primary colors of ink. For example, the hue after red and yellow is orange; yellow and blue can get green; red and blue can turn purple. With two, you can mix a variety of colors. Namely: the primary color peach red and yellow mixed with 1:1, can get a large red phase; if mixed with 1:3 can get dark yellow; if mixed with 3:1 can get gold red phase. If the primary color yellow and blue are mixed, you can get green; if you mix it with 3:1, you can get emerald green; if you mix it with 4:1, you can get apple green; if you mix it with 1:3, you can get dark green. If the primary color peach red and blue are mixed in 1:3, dark blue purple can be obtained; if mixed with 3:1, the approximate green lotus color can be obtained. The complex color is derived from the mixing of three primary color inks. If they are mixed in different proportions, many types of complex colors can be obtained. For example, the original colors of peach red, yellow and blue can be blended to obtain approximate black; 2 parts of peach red and 1 part of yellow and blue can be mixed to obtain brownish red; 4 parts of pink and yellow and blue can be blended to obtain reddish brown. If pink and yellow are 1 part, blue 2 parts, can be blended with olive; 1 part of peach red and yellow, 4 parts of blue can be blended to obtain dark green and so on.
4. How to adjust the ink color
When formulating the ink, it is necessary to determine which kinds of inks should be used according to the hue analyzed by the original. For example, to adjust the lake blue ink, according to visual inspection plus practical experience can be adjusted. Among them, white ink is the main color, and peacock blue is the auxiliary color. If you want to be deeper, you can add a blue color. If you want to adjust the olive yellow green color, you can be sure to use white ink, add yellowish and peacock blue and add a little pink. As long as the main color is determined, the other colors are auxiliary colors, and should be added evenly and evenly. Then, one of the two sheets of paper (same as the printing paper) is coated with a little of the ink, and the other is scraped to the thickness of the printed ink layer, that is, whether it is suitable for comparison with the original. When comparing the sample, it is necessary to look at the thin and light parts of the ink-stained ink layer on the paper surface. There is a principle to be mastered when adjusting ink, that is, to use ink of different colors as much as possible. That is to say, if two inks can be used, do not use three inks to adjust, so as not to reduce the gloss of the ink. On the other hand, the ink color of the scraped sample is slightly darker than the original color, so that the printed color sample can be more accurate. After the ink color of the sample is ready, the ink can be batch-adjusted according to their respective ink ratios to ensure the quality of the ink and improve the work efficiency.
In summary, as long as we master the changing laws of the three primary colors, apply the color knowledge, practice and analyze and summarize them, we will be able to quickly and accurately match the colors with good accuracy, bright colors, bright colors and good printability. Ink, lay a solid foundation for improving product quality.
