Counterfeit and shoddy products can be said to be a cancer on the market. It not only greatly reduces the direct economic benefits of counterfeit enterprises, but also harms the vital interests of consumers. With the development of science and technology, the high and wide nature of counterfeiting technology has put forward higher requirements for anti-counterfeiting technology.
The so-called "anti-counterfeiting packaging technology" is: mainly for goods, as part of the anti-counterfeiting part, and part of the packaging technology. Therefore, the anti-counterfeiting packaging not only has the general functional characteristics of the anti-counterfeiting technology, but also has its own characteristics suitable for the packaging of the commodity.
At present, anti-counterfeiting packaging methods can be described as numerous, and there are more than one hundred anti-counterfeiting labels. However, from the overall analysis, anti-counterfeiting packaging technology focuses on the following aspects: anti-counterfeiting labels, special material processes, printing processes, packaging structures and other methods. . The following technical means are in the mainstream.
Laser full image
The use of holographic printing technology to make anti-counterfeiting marks, attached to the surface of the packaging is currently the most popular anti-counterfeiting means. The holographic image combines the latest achievements in laser, precision machinery and physical chemistry, and has a high technical content. For most small batch counterfeiters, the mastery of manufacturing technology and the purchase of manufacturing equipment are difficult to achieve. Therefore the effect of this technique is significant. However, the embossed holographic anti-counterfeiting logo did not fully meet its intended function, and even a forged logo appeared.
What follows is a new packaging material with anti-counterfeiting technology and a higher level of holographic image marking technology processed by laser holography. Holographic image technologies with better anti-counterfeiting functions include: high-quality full-color true three-dimensional holography technology, complex dynamic hologram technology, encryption holography technology, digital holography technology, and special hologram carrier technology (such as hologram special imprint material).
Laser anti-counterfeiting packaging material
The laser-treated material has the functions of anti-counterfeiting and decoration, and changes the partial anti-counterfeiting method identified by a laser holographic image to achieve the overall anti-counterfeiting effect. The entire package is laser-processed, plus the manufacturer's name, trademark, etc., which is a large-scale main body anti-counterfeiting, and the counterfeiters are unable to proceed. In addition, the laser packaging material presents colorful colors and printed patterns under the illumination of the light, and the appearance is bright, and the strange optical effect adds a new, strange and beautiful feeling of packaging.
There are four major categories of laser processed packaging materials. 1 Flexible packaging bag: The laser film is made by high-tech, and then combined with ordinary plastic film, and printed into a flexible packaging bag of laser material <called laser soft packaging bag). 2 Hard packaging is printed on a general carton and then combined with a laser-treated glazing film to form a glazing hard case. 3 Laser paper: Laser paper is made directly on paper. The production process of laser paper is difficult and the cost is high. But its advantages are: easy to print, easy to handle, no environmental problems; some products must be packed in paper (such as cigarette cases), especially suitable for such as cigarette cases, bottle stickers, labels, tax stickers, calendars, gift bags, etc. In order to increase the anti-counterfeiting effect, the manufacturer can use a special holographic pattern to mark the paper base pattern, and add product graphics to make a unique special packaging paper. 4 There is also a laser-treated hot stamping foil - high-grade anodized aluminum products. The logo specially made with it can be displayed in a multi-dimensional manner. The dynamic picture can be designed by computer, and the "spot" encryption can be reserved, and the main pattern can display different patterns at different viewing angles. After being combined with the surface of the package, the hot stamping foil is integrated with the package to achieve the dual effects of anti-counterfeiting and aesthetics.
Invisible identification system
BioCode has successfully developed a new invisible identification system that uses antibodies as a new material for making anti-counterfeiting labels.
This system consists of two objects: the marker compound added to the product and the antibody used to identify the presence or absence of the marker and, if necessary, for quantitative analysis. The marking compound may be a household chemical, but it must be durable, inert and easy to mix with the product and meet sanitary and regulatory requirements. These marks are usually mixed into the product in a few percent. Antibodies are specific biorecognition molecules, each of which recognizes or binds to a particular compound. There are two types of marker recognition operations: on-site measurement and laboratory testing. It can test the presence or absence of the marker and the exact content, and can also measure the product that is replaced or diluted.
Surface invisible technology has the following benefits: specific graphics and location for specific users; true invisibility; both printed labels with markers and a custom inkjet system installed, highly secure (because there are no specific antibodies) When the marker is invisible, the specific antibody is strictly regulated; the logo image can be erased and redisplayed.
Invisible anti-counterfeiting trademarks are more vital than hologram logos.
Laser coding
Laser coding is mainly used for the production date of the packaging and the printing of the product batch number. The anti-counterfeiting is not the primary function. Because the laser encoder is expensive, it can only be used in the occasions where mass production or other printing methods cannot be realized, so that it can be used in anti-counterfeiting. Packaging plays a role.
Laser coded sealing technology is a better container anti-counterfeiting technology. After the product seal is capped, laser printing is performed at the seam between the lid and the container, so that the upper half of the font is printed on the lid and the lower half is printed on the container.
The anti-counterfeiting effect of this technology is that the packaging container cannot be reused. The new cover matches the old container, and the writing is difficult to align; the laser is expensive and coded on the production line. It is difficult for the general counterfeiters to invest heavily in the purchase of the equipment; the manufacturer can change the template at will, using different templates for different dates, and the details of replacement are only known to a few people, and it is difficult for outsiders to crack.
Seen from the anti-counterfeiting effect; laser coding technology is not worse than laser holographic image technology. The laser holographic logo is printed by the printing house, and the manufacturer using the logo cannot ensure that the master does not flow out or illegally copy from the printing link. Laser encoders are expensive and must be used online, and the hidden nature of the glyph-changing variants makes it difficult for small, medium-sized and scattered factories to make fakes.
Gravure printing security
Gravure printing uses the pits engraved in the original image to carry ink. The thickness of the lines and the shade of the ink can be controlled during the engraving, which is not easy to be imitated and forged, especially the depth of the ink pit. The possibility of realistic engraving in the printed image is very small. Due to the anti-counterfeiting effect, gravure printing has been increasingly promoted to corporate trademarks and packaging and decoration printing.
The anti-counterfeiting advantage of gravure printing is that the hand-engraved gravure can implement the secret anti-counterfeiting method. For substrates with a small amount of printing, it is particularly effective to use hand-engraved plates for substrates with high plate-making costs. Counterfeiters who pursue short-term interests may not be willing to take this investment risk; plate making and printing are carried out off-site. Separate the two work steps of plate making and printing as much as possible, so that the fewer people know the core content of the entire trademark (or securities) printing work. Of course, it is also necessary to pay attention to prevent the printing plates and printed materials from being stolen; combined with the anti-counterfeiting ink technology, the unique special inks, their components, particle fineness and additives are kept secret to the outside world. Even if the print has a unique effect, it also achieves the secret anti-counterfeiting function.
