The main factors affecting the quality of the film are:
1. Ink
It is necessary to use a pre-coated film. It is best to use bright and fast-drying ink for printing. However, it is not advisable to use more catalyst when it is used, otherwise the surface of the ink layer will be crystallized. In addition, the viscosity of the ink and the difference in oil content will affect the filming effect.
2. Adhesive coating
The adhesive layer on the BOPP film is required to be thin and uniform. Under the premise of ensuring firm adhesion, the pre-coating film with a thin coating of the adhesive should be selected as much as possible, otherwise the melting effect will be affected.
Laminating common problems and solutions
1. Product appears snowflake
(1) The pressure of the rubber roller is not enough, and the pressure should be increased appropriately.
(2) The gel on the precoat film is not completely melted and can be solved by the following method.
1 Increase the film temperature appropriately.
2 Increase the contact area between the film and the heating roller to increase the degree of heat fusion of the adhesive on the film at the same speed.
3 Reduce the film speed.
(3) Dust and impurities on the rubberized surface of the pre-coated film should be removed in time.
2. Product wrinkles
(1) The pressure of the rubber roller is too large, causing the film to deform, and the pressure should be appropriately reduced.
(2) The surface of the rubber roller is damaged or uneven, and the rubber roller should be replaced.
(3) The pressure imbalance between the rubber roller and the heating roller should be properly adjusted.
(4) If the tension on both sides of the film is inconsistent or there is a wavy edge, the film material should be replaced.
3. Product curl after slitting
(1) If the film tension is too large, the film will be stretched and deformed, and the film tensioning screw should be adjusted.
(2) The winding tension is large, so that the film and the paper are deformed at the same time, and the winding tensioning mechanism should be adjusted.
(3) The humidity in the production workshop should be controlled at about 60%.
(4) The drying time is short, and the drying time should be extended appropriately. After the film-coated product is completely dried and cooled on the winding roller, the film is cut and cut.
4. Bonding is not strong, stripping
(1) The precoat film exceeds the shelf life and a new precoat film is replaced.
(2) If the ink layer of the printed matter is not dry, the drying time of the printed matter should be prolonged, especially when coating the special printed matter.
(3) The film pressure is small, the speed is fast, and the temperature is low. The film pressure can be appropriately increased, the film speed can be lowered, and the film temperature can be increased.
