The plexiglass material is a member of the plastic family. The scientific name polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is a thermoplastic with high hardness and good toughness, which can be bonded and screen printed. It is not only worth a hundred times in the advertising system, but also an irreplaceable component manufacturing material in the fields of industry and military. The color characteristics and main uses are shown in Table 1.
First, several links that should be paid attention to in the screen printing of plexiglass signs
1. Printing ink should use high-gloss, anti-friction plexiglass ink, especially matte ink can not be used when printing on the surface, because this ink is not resistant to friction and the color is not gorgeous. For outdoor light boxes and signs, you should also use imported inks with good lightfastness to resist the exposure of strong light and prolong its service life.
2. The printing film cannot be replaced by laser printing or sulfuric acid paper. It must be a positive or negative film output by a professional manufacturer. When outputting, it is necessary to output a blank film with a positioning crosshair. When printing the plate, first attach the blank cross-hair film to the glass plate with transparent tape. The film of other colors should be based on this, so that the position of the screen can be consistent.
3. For fine screen printing, high-resolution imported photosensitive adhesive and imported wire mesh with high tension and low stretch rate must be selected. For example, SBQ single-liquid photosensitive adhesive, NBC mesh and other famous brand products produced by Murakami Corporation of Japan, although the price is more expensive than domestic ones, the screens produced are clear, the edges of the graphics are neat, and multi-color overprint or four colors are also guaranteed. The accuracy of the position when screening. If the text is too small, the lines are very thin, and the 350 mesh screen can be used. At the same time, the imported ink or light curing ink should be equipped with fine grinding.
4. Screen printing color matching is generally carried out by the experience of the printer. Because the mesh size of each batch is different, the thickness of the photosensitive film is not the same, which often causes the color cast of the printed product. "The color of the ink in the barrel is not accurate. "Seeing the truth after the last version of the scrape" is explaining this truth. Therefore, each batch of live must use a well-developed screen to test and print samples, and the customer can confirm the color of the original before entering the official printing.
5. Large format paintings must be printed on a screen printing machine, and small areas can be printed on an inhalation printing station. During the printing process, six consistency should be maintained: a. The multi-color screen version should be consistent; b. The squeegee speed is consistent; c. Scratch pressure is consistent; d. The consistency of the ink remains the same; e. The hardness of the size scraper is consistent when hand-scraping; f. The temperature and humidity of the printing shop remain the same.
6. The double-sided organic board signboard should use a transparent board, which adopts the anti-printing method. After the graphic printing is completed, a layer of ground color is printed on the surface, and the screen printing glue must be used for the bonding between the two poles. Generally use 80~100 mesh nylon mesh, water-based photosensitive adhesive to make screen, which can be printed on one side or on both sides. When the color of the screen printing glue becomes translucent (about 20~30min), the two sides are aligned and bonded together. . The bond line is not affected by mechanical polishing.
7. In the case of multi-color overprinting, in order to ensure the accuracy of overprinting, the dimensions of other editions can be appropriately scaled (the scaling size must not exceed 0.1~0.2mm) while ensuring the size of the graphic version. When printing, the deep version of the shallow version, the graphic version of the compression plate, so that when the organic plate is not cut or the artificial plate and the positioning block is poorly coupled, it can also be overprinted accurately.

8. There is a large amount of static electricity and dust on the surface of the organic sheet. If the dust adheres to the screen, it will cause the text and the color block to be broken, and the waste will appear. Therefore, printing must be carried out in a clean, dust-free room. The surface dust can be removed in two steps. First, wipe off the surface dust with a damp cotton cloth, and then use a static dusting brush or a dust removing roller to remove residual dust. When printing, check the edge and print. If problems are found, clean the screen in time and then print.
9. The products (cosmetic, jewelry, watches) in the large and medium-sized shopping malls in China are pursuing matte effects to set off bright and colorful products. The plexiglass board manufacturer does not have this board, and the flat surface board or the transparent board can be directly printed with the sand surface treatment ink, and after the ink is dried, the sand matte effect can be exhibited.
10. The size of the organic board should be the same, and the adjacent sides should be at an angle of 90° and the thickness should be uniform. According to the size of the printed screen, the margin is appropriately left, and after the printing is completed, the excess amount is cut. For multi-color overprinting or four-color printing, a magnetic white or transparent organic plate should be used. The magnetic whiteboard is used for front printing and the transparent board is used for reverse printing.
Second, plexiglass display stand and advertising plate processing production
The machinery and tools used in the processing of plexiglass basically use woodworking machinery. The commonly used machinery and materials are shown in Table 2.
1. Cutting and cutting: The conventional size of the organic board is 1830mm×1220mm, 2160mm×1220uum, etc. According to the drawings provided by the customer, the cutting line is drawn on the board, and the dimension of the board should be 0.5~3mm larger than the actual size. The plate of 5mm or more is directly cut by a saw. Under 5mm, the shallow groove can be hooked out by a hook knife, and then the plate is broken by a knife. When using a chainsaw, you should pay attention to safety, and the two steps in the same direction, and strive to maintain balance. It is very important to cut this process. It is related to whether the following processes can be carried out smoothly. Must be done: the marking is accurate, the cutting is reasonable, and the sawing line is straight.

2. Cross-section planing: The undulating organic plate section can be flattened with a plane, and the electric planer can be roughly ground by a grinder, and then placed on a belt machine for flattening. The thin plate is clamped together by a pressure iron clamp at the same time, and straightened by an electric planer or a belt machine. In this way, ergonomics can be improved, and the consistency of the multi-plate size is also ensured. Professional manufacturers generally have special iron clips, which clamp the large pieces of organic pieces and then flatten them with electric planers. For small-area boards, it is good to clamp the flat with a bench vise.
3. Grinding and polishing: The effect of polishing is to restore the radiance of the damaged organic plate section. The already flattened sheet is further ground with water sandpaper and then polished with a polisher. During the polishing process, some polishing soap (green soap, white soap) should be rubbed on the cloth wheel from time to time to speed up the polishing. Various scratches are often found on transparent organic boards and are also polished prior to printing or bonding. With the advent of the engraving machine, the organic plate section has also been polished with a flame treatment machine, but the effect is not satisfactory. It is best to use a laser cutter for a plate with high quality requirements.
4. Bending: The use of organic sheets for the processing of various display stands often requires bending the sheets into various angles. According to the length of the bending line, a plurality of heaters of different lengths can be made, and the heater is made of flat aluminum alloy profiles. Method: Firstly, a 3~5mm groove line is opened on the aluminum profile so that the heat of the heating pipe overflows from it, and the two sides of the groove line are attached with hard wood board, which can function as a heat-insulating non-stick plate. Then, the quartz heating tube is fixed in the aluminum tube with an iron clip, and the power cord can be connected. Where the organic plate is bent, a shallow line is drawn with a hook knife, so that the folded corner line can be both square and accurate. During the heating process, the heating line of the organic plate must be pressed by the square wood, so that the heating wire is heated and balanced, and the folded corner line will be straight, without the occurrence of pile meat or local cracking. For different bending angles, wooden molds with different angles are also required.
5. Slotted drilling: Slotting holes are often required on signage panels or display stands, vertical milling machines are used for grooving, and various types of knives are equipped with boring tools; a set of modular hole openers is required for opening, and the hole ejector is stuck The drilling task can be completed on the bench drill, and the ordinary drill bit can be used for the hole below 13mm.
6. Bonding: The more common binder is chloroform solution. The solution is sucked into the needle tube by the injection needle tube, and the bonding effect is good in the welding gap. For the large-area bonding, the crystal glue can be used, the bonding position is high, and the car is still good, and the use is also used. Strong adhesives such as 502, 110, etc., are also very convenient to bond, but the price is slightly more expensive.
