1. Source of black manuscript

1.3 The original calligraphy of rice paper calligraphy has not been carried out, so it is the best result of direct photosensitive plate making. Due to the poor transmission line of rice paper, the exposure time for plate making is 1/2 longer than conventional.
1.4 The original calligraphy has been installed and can be copied by a copier. For example, the font on the copy paper is not thick enough, and then the ink is applied to the coat with a brush. Copy paper is far less transparent than film, and the time for plate exposure is twice as high as conventional.
2. Screen production
2.1 screen cloth is selected from 150~200 mesh.
2.2 wooden frame or aluminum alloy frame (size 150×50cm), using manual stretch net or mechanical stretch net.
2.3 Direct photo-sensitive plate making method, diazo-sensitive emulsion is water-based, try to scrape as many times as possible on the emulsion, it is best to use Beijing Xinya U49 thick film emulsion, suitable for screen printing thick ink easy to penetrate in rice paper .
3. Printing material preparation
Dissolve 1 part of CMC (methylcellulose) and 10 parts of water, then add Binaer (fixing agent) and ink or Chinese painting pigment. It is most suitable for printing calligraphy and Chinese painting. The effect of screen printing calligraphy can be smelled. fragrance.
4. Paper selection
The traditional calligraphy paper is rice paper, and the quality of the paper should be pure, white, dense, moist, and loose. The performance of raw rice paper is easy to absorb water and easy to permeate. It can give sensitive records to the movement of the brush. It provides a wide space for the emotional performance of pen and ink. Therefore, the screen printing calligraphy should use “shengxuan” paper.
5. Printing process
5.1 "Painted felt" is spread on the silk screen board. Because the performance of raw rice paper absorbs water, permeates, and the ink is easy to leak when screen printing, it is stained on the plate through the paper, directly destroying the effect of the word. Therefore, the wool felt is placed under the rice paper. Because the fluff on the surface of the sheep felt holds the rice paper, there is a layer of air cushion under the paper, the moisture in the ink color will not leak, and will not adhere, and will not affect the printing quality.
5.2 The squeegee should be 2~3cm larger than the screen. In order to print more ink, the front end of the squeegee strip is U round or small rounded.
5.3 Before printing, it is best to spray a thin layer of water on the rice paper to encourage the ink to penetrate the rice paper quickly.
5.4 When hand-scraping, the direction of the squeegee is opposite to the direction of the ink return. When the squeegee is printed, the angle between the strip and the screen is between 30° and 75°. Scratch from the distance to the arms, from the arms to the distance when returning to the ink, the angle is more random, mostly 45 °.
5.5 screen printed calligraphy papers only need to be dried for 15~30min, and then sent to the painting and calligraphy shop for decoration.
