There are many ways to post-process portrait photos. The background effect of simulating large aperture shooting is most commonly used, and the effect is also most obvious and beautiful. Below we will illustrate by specific examples. Original picture (see Figure 1)

The first step is to open the original image in Photoshop, copy the layer, and set the layer bar on the layer to be copied. Then the menu bar layer -> copy layer (see Figure 2)

In the second step, perform Gaussian blur on the next layer, select the next layer in the layer bar, and then filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur (see Figure 3), adjust the parameters in the pop-up dialog box: Radius 5 (See Figure 4)

In the third step, select the top layer and change its layer blending option to “Overlay” (see Figure 5).

The fourth step is to view the effect to save the photo. (See Figure 6)
