Classification of aluminum silver paste:
All aluminum pigments can be divided into two types, floating and non-floating. Because the appearance of each type of aluminum sheet is different from other types, the technical parameters affecting the application formula and end use of the product will also vary depending on the desired effect.
First, floating type
In floating aluminum pigments, aluminum sheets are oriented adjacent to the surface of the paint film to form an opaque silver film. This opaque property is the main factor that makes floating aluminum pigments an important functional raw material. Floating aluminum pigments are generally used. It is mainly used for roof coating, maintenance, anti-corrosion coatings, reflective coatings, imitation coatings and commercial coatings with high protection requirements.

Non-floating pigments are uniformly distributed throughout the film. The appearance of the film is different from that of the floating aluminum pigment. Because it can be mixed with various pigments and is suitable for various systems, it has a unique effect on industrial coating. However, any pigment or dye must be transparent when used with non-floating aluminum pigments to achieve a realistic metallic effect. Non-floating aluminum pigments come in a wide variety of colors, from low to high, from coarse to fine, from white to dark. Non-floating aluminum pigments have a variety of acid resistance levels, which can reduce the impact of industrial smoke, acid rain and other adverse environments on the coating.
