In the use of flexible packaging, almost all of it must be printed, whether it is composite or not, so it is absolutely impossible to ignore the role and influence of printing ink. If you do not know its nature in advance, it will often cause a big accident.
Plastic printing inks are divided into two types: gravure ink for surface printing and gravure ink for composite printing (printing inside). Surface printing is generally used for non-transparent films, such as various types of colored films, paper, aluminum foil, and the like.
According to the status quo at home and abroad, the single-layer polyethylene film (including LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, LLDPE), EVA film and non-stretched polypropylene film can be processed by surface printing, and generally the film roll The form is mostly printed.
In addition, other films, cellophane, etc., as long as the transparency allows (even including the surface PE printing film used as a composite toothpaste tube, etc.), is carried out in the inside printing mode, because the printing inside can not only show the ink color. It is bright and smooth, and it also plays a role in protecting the ink surface.
The surface printing ink, as the name suggests, is applied to printed matter whose printing surface is directly exposed to the outside, and thus is particularly required to have the following characteristics.
1 wear resistance, strong scratch resistance.
2 has heat resistance at a high temperature during heat-resistant sealing.
3 Appearance requires good gloss.
The printing ink is generally used for the composite film. Since the ink portion is sandwiched between the printing film and the other composite film, only special durability with so-called composite compatibility is required, such as composite strength and AC for composite use. The affinity and bonding of the primer and various types of adhesives, and the resistance to abrasion, scratch and gloss required for surface printing are almost unnecessary, which is the difference between the two.
