The embedding operation is to arrange a proper amount of single cards into a printing plate. The operation after printing should be considered in the operation, especially for the booklets that need to be nailed, so that the page order of the paper is correct after being printed or folded. Therefore, the relationship between one edition and another edition should be noted before the press:
1 The nature of the print: single or bottom print, single page, loose sheet or book.
2 printing methods of printing: wire, iron wire (flat nail, saddle nail), loose leaf, hardcover and so on.
Most books are taller than the width, we call this the Portrait Page, and the width is greater than the height is called the Landscape Page. After a book is printed, it needs to be folded into a required size by several large sheets of paper, and then nailed along the number. A book page folded from large paper is called a post. All of the above are matters that should be paid attention to before the imprinting work.
Printing method
1Single side: The side on which only one piece of printing paper is printed is called a single-sided printing.
2Sheet work: After one side of a piece of printing paper is printed, another printing plate is printed on the back side, that is, the printing which is printed by two printing plates.
3 Work & turn: Generally, Hong Kong is a printing method called "reflexive version". The word plates on both sides of a sheet of paper are all arranged in one printing plate, that is, one half of the printing plate is half-shaped with a half-printed printing plate on one side, and the other half is the word plate on the back of the half-printed printing paper; After printing on one side of the paper with the same plate, then the paper is traversed, and the "biting edge" of the long side of the paper is printed on the back side. After two printing processes, the paper is cut in the paper. Opened to two, and got two copies of the same printed.
4 Work & tumble: After printing on one side of the paper with the same plate, then flip the paper and print on the back side, and use the other long side of the paper as the “bite edge”. Commonly known as the "fighting bucket", but this method has been used sparingly.
