Most of the previous printing buyers submitted film and proofing to the printing house, and the printing factory did not need to face any errors in prepress production. But today's printing buyers mostly submit electronic manuscripts, and many printers have added prepress departments and added a lot of equipment, such as computers, CTP and process systems. However, due to lack of experience and talents, and the format of electronic manuscripts submitted by customers, the software version is too many, the level of manuscript is uneven, and the methods are different. There are often many problems, such as: low resolution of images, missing OPI links. Link, wrong color space (RGB, CIE map...), excess ink volume, too young lines, inappropriate overlays, missing fonts, etc... These responsibilities are often borne by the printing house and need to be reprinted or fined. Although there are some pre-examination systems (Preflight) on the market, it can help you pre-check the files. If you find a problem, you can report it back to the customer. But in many cases, the client is just a middleman. His client may be a foreign publisher or other company, and these companies are likely to be outsourced to independent designers. In this case, the manuscript will need to go through multiple channels and take a lot of time to modify it.

There are also times when the pre-screening report found no problems, but there were still problems when outputting film or zinc plates. It may be that the version of RIP does not match. It is possible that the embedded font is corrupted. Of course, it can be discovered in time, but it only loses the cost of zinc plate or film. If it is not detected in time, it will be discovered after printing, and then it will be a heavy loss.

Basically, proSkipper is like a file preflight system (Preflight). Once the file is sent to the system, the system automatically performs preflight processing. 1. Preflight - A pre-check engine based on the JDF driver. After the test, the system will generate a low-resolution PDF report. 4.
